Verv is a synthesizer inspired by string machines, tape loops, Mellotrons and other time-worn analog recordings. Modeled after the 1970s Freeman String Symphonizer and ARP Solina, Verv has a dual-oscillator and carefully constructed ensemble modulation reminiscent of the classics.
Spirit Reverb can also do totally original effects, such as the Cosmic reverb type, which is generally set like an echo effect and causes a swelling frequency sweep trail. All effects have a parametric EQ that can be used either after the effect, or on the wet signal only. Stereo spread effects provide an even more big and spacious reverb which can be dialed to the desired width in “Mono to Stereo” mode.

But in this case, that’s simplifying too much. EZkeys Cinematic Grand presents an all-new hybrid instrument where perfect fidelity meets altered harmonics and layered textures to form never-before-heard piano timbres. Based on a classic Bösendorfer from 1891, this one-of-a-kind instrument was recorded in four individual configurations – one where horsehair was used as a bow on each piano string (‘Bowed’); one where the strings were struck by hand (‘Plucked’); one where various preparations were added to generate a muffled tone color (‘Damped’) and, in opposite, one where the overtones were exaggerated, producing an ambient and soaring timbre (‘Harmonic’).
Hillman is a synthlike instrument inspired by old combo-organs, string machines and similar vintage gear. It has 4 voices per note, each with selectable waveform (transistor:ish, tube:ish, sine and special plasma), octave switch and a level control. The sound is generated with an analog approach, but does not use samples or sampled wavetables. Hillman also has an intuitive ADSR envelope control, FX section with Chorus, Phaser & Reverb, and comes with many built-in presets.
Voltage Controlled Odyssey is the new sound library featuring 68 presets for Reveal Sound Spire software synth. The patches include phat basses, razor-sharp leads, haunting pads, glitchy transition and oneshot synth fx, organic plucks, polysynth/keys and percussion sounds. Though the sounds were designed with ambient, glitch/IDM, electro, industrial, cinematic, neurohop/neurofunk styles in mind, they are also suitable for dubstep, drum n bass, house, trance, other EDM genres.
