Just play your MIDI, turn some knobs and make beats. The Amen Break is already sliced up into its single drum hits. Each single slice can be triggered by its own MIDI note. It can be rearranged with no limits, so that You can produce the “Amen”- beat of your choice. It has two types of amp envelopes, one main envelope, which has effect to all slices, and each single slice additionally has its own envelope for more individual tweaking. It has a multimode filter, an ADSR filter envelope, two LFOs and an effects section with phaser, bitcrusher, distortion and a reverb. The slices can be played forward and reverse by Velocity strength.

It seems there has been renewed interest in the old BFD Expansion packs recently as there has been quiet a few posts here at Magesy sharing these packs. When it comes to world percussion, there have been few libraries released. Most were disappointing except for the Evolution Series World Percussion 2.0 which featured many instruments from around the world with many RRs and multiple Mic positions. To those who were disappointed in my previous libraries because the snare top/bottom and Kick In/Out samples were mixed with the Direct sample, you don’t need to worry about it here. The original samples themselves don’t have a Kick in/out or Snare Top/Bottom ones (except perhaps couple of instruments). There is no difference in features from my previous libraries. Interface is still the same.
