    TX-101 KONTAKT

    TEAM Krock | October 04 2012 | 9 MB

TX-101 is a 4-tracks sequencer designed for the creation of evolving rhythm patterns. Each track has 4 different samples (for a total of 16 samples), including organic glitches and metal hits. It is possible to store eight presets that can be joined and looped together to build a 128 steps sequence (16×8). It is also possible to sequence Delay and Flanger effects as two additional tracks. Both parameters (cutoff, resonance, effects) and steps can be randomized separately. There are 6 different variations (.nki instruments) of TX-101 for different mood/styles: master, ambient, hard, leslie, modulations, talking. The modulation wheel is also assigned to a different set of parameters for each instrument. You can watch the tutorial video or download the documentation to learn more about TX-101.

    SoundScapes Vol.1 KONTAKT

    TEAM Krock | October 05 2012 | 80 MB

Soundscapes, textures and ambiences ready to use as Kontakt instruments or WAV loops. These sounds are divided in two main categories as the source materials: concrete and gear. The raw concrete samples were recorded in different places across Europe (Paris, Dublin, London and Naples) using studio or handy equipment. The raw gear samples were recorded from hardware synthesizers like a Custom Eurorack Modular Synth, guitar pedals and noisy toys like a Thingamagoop 2. Everything was then processed and boxed inside a Kontakt instrument with a custom performance view. The pitch bend is assigned to a ±24 pitch transpose, good for glitch effects. All samples are perfect loops, so if you don’t have Kontakt you can load them directly.

Environments “Temple of Mercury” features sound gestures from a corrugated plastic pipe and the impulse response of the Temple of Mercury, a wide caldera situated in the west of Naples (Italy). The Temple is also known as “The Echo Temple” for its several acoustic reflections caused by a dome vault and water on the floor. The temple is entirely made of tophus, and it has a diameter of 21.5 meters (71ft) and a circular opening in the vault reminiscent of the one in the Pantheon in Rome. The sampled instrument produces flute, horn, efxs, impulsive sounds, and, with a little electroacoustic modification, feedback sounds; all sounds are playable with or without the convolution of the Temple. This library was inspired by a video by Salvatore Carannante, a musician who plays common or recycled everyday objects as a way of interacting with the acoustic space.

    Wood KONTAKT

Wood is an organic material, found in plants, and used for many purposes such as making musical instruments. Many wooden instruments are idiophones, instruments where the vibration of the material itself is the main source of the sound. Following this concept, Wood is a sample library made by sampling hits, collision or effects with wooden tools (sticks, claves, boards, drums, castanets, bowls and so on). The samples are then processed into different instruments ranging from tuned/untuned percussions, drum kits, hits/noises to sound textures and sound effects.

    TEAM MAGNETRiXX | 29 April 2014 | 74.4 MB

Pipes is a collection of instruments derived from a variety of cardboard tubes, aluminum spray cans, dreamcatchers, and PVC pipes. Even if the pitch of most of the sources is not stable, all instruments were manually tuned. Each instrument features from 3 to 6 Round Robin samples and up to 3 velocity layers. One of the main instruments is a sampled Wah Wah Tube (aka Vibratone): bell-like sound with a very long release and a dedicated control for overtones. There are a couple of sound designed patches derived from the original instruments along with Kontakt Multis ready to play.
