An melodic drone engine based around mechanical sounds for Kontakt 5.8.1 and above. Mechia the second in a series of unique engines producing drone sounds, using our 4-voice Recoil playback engine. Mechia includes a set of 50 custom designed drone sources created to provide long-evolving textural soundscapes. The sounds are carefully structured to allow them to be used in a melodic context – they are much more than normal one-note drone loops. Mechia’s powerful 4-voice dual-channel engine offers you the sculpting and creative power to use 8 different sounds in your final playback: Select any combination of voices (including repeating the same voice but with modified settings for phase shifting and beating effects), each voice then passes through the standard channel, each with their own envelope, tremolo and vibrato modules. In parallel the voices pass through our unique physical modelling style exciter and resonator engines, where you can define exciter patterns and speed, attack, release and length as well as define a re-pitching sequence. Each voice channel has independent volume, pitch and sample-start offset controls.

The TCL-2 delivers the stellar, transparent sonics of the beloved Twincom in plugin form. The original hardware Twincom features “Twin Topology” technology, which gives users the ability to select either a full tube, or full J-FET/solid-state signal path. Both the complete tube and solid-state signal paths have been faithfully modeled in the plugin version. In addition, the plugin version provides the ability to process Mid (M) and Side (S) information separately, as well as a Dry / Wet signal control for each individual channel. The plugin version of the TCL-2 captures the tone of both of these circuit paths, bringing the sound to the DAW-based producer/engineer. From the transformer-less signal path, to the lower, tighter gain and threshold structure, to its unique single amplifier design, every aspect of the original hardware has been faithfully emulated in the plugin version.

While the EQ4’s wide, musical control over 4 frequency bands make it the best EQ on the market for sweetening your tracks, the EQ2’s second band offers greater control over center frequencies and bandwidth selections, making it a great tool for fixing problems or creating more radical changes. The EQ2 also has the legendary Air Band like the EQ4, but offers a 15khz band not found on the EQ4. The EQ2’s 11 LMF bell selections on its LMF band: 6 wide and 5 tight, broaden its frequency selections compared to the EQ4, which has only wide bell selections. This allows the EQ2 to zoom in on problem areas in a manner that EQ can’t. The EQ2 also features an Input Attenuator not found on the EQ4 to help normalize the signal before applying EQ.
