Cubase is a MIDI production powerhouse. It comes with an essential set of MIDI tools that all Cubase producers must learn. Watch this 29 video course, by Cubase specialist to unleash your own MIDI power and creativity. Steinberg’s Cubase was one of the first MIDI sequencing software, and it’s now one of the most advanced DAW for recording and editing MIDI. In this course, Cubase expert Matthew Loel T. Hepworth covers all the MIDI tools and skills you need to know to master Cubase’s MIDI features! First, Matthew takes you through the basics of MIDI and covers the three types of MIDI tracks available in Cubase. Matthew reveals how to connect external MIDI devices and talks about the different types of MIDI data, such as Note, Aftertouch, and Pitchbend. Next, Matthew dives deep into MIDI recording and editing. You learn all about the linear, cycle and step recording modes, drum maps, the editing tools, quantizing, the three editing windows, and more. Matthew wraps up the course with a close look at importing and exporting MIDI data, rendering your external MIDI tracks to audio, and the very important auto-save feature…
ReCenter automatically repairs off-center stereo recordings while keeping the original stereo width which makes it an invaluable time-saver and a perfect tool for professional post-production. Fix off-centered stereo field recordings, dynamically center vocal artists or musicians that moved around the stage or center hard directional effects like drive-bys and stereo whooshes. ReCenter makes tedious panning automation obsolete so you can focus on your creative flow.
Contemporary Color is a unique audio effect for “coloring” your mixes. Quickly make customized color tailored to each track. Minimalist GUI with a wide range of control, Frequency dependent non-linearity with Zero Latency, Cleanly mixes into dry signal without phase issues, Ranges from inaudible to extreme with a huge sweet spot, Windows and Mac VST, VST3, AAX, and Audio Units. Instead of recreating some of the less-desirable aspects of analog such as noise and flutter, Contemporary Color attempts to only add smooth color. Our goal was to make a plugin that offered a new perspective on mixing. There are so many great compressors, equalizers, reverbs etc. on the market; and, while one can never have too many compressors, we believe Contemporary Color will add some creativity to your workflow!
Customize your attack and release times and shapes, independently. Make your compressor sound pumpy like an RMS compressor, snappy like a feedforward compressor, or your own creation. Attack and release times can be set to Zero, Infinity, and everything in between. Character and sidechain hpf controls for even more sonic flexability.
Nexcellence is a rich-sounding, spring emulation inspired by and modeled after “Necklace-type” reverb units. It provides two different spring set processors and can use one or both of its processing engines simultaneously. The algorithm has improved on the original hardware by providing a handy set of parameters to let you control inherent aspects of the spring reverb.
Twin-L is a dual algorithm classic limiter. The aim of this plug-in is to provide a wide variety of shaping options. The plug-in is able to emulate the main features of two types of limiter: VCA-limiters, which is a modern type of analog limiter, and Opto-limiters which are vintage optical limiters. Keep in mind, however, that Twin-L’s limiting algorithms are not intended to emulate any specific hardware but rather to bring the capabilities of both types into a versatile plug-in. It’s also worth mentioning that the Twin-L is part of our series Zero Latency Processing plug-ins; no additional latency is critical in many situations such as live monitoring and managing automation.
