Despite its minimalist design, it can generate over 100 grains, allowing for the creation of potent granular sounds effortlessly. The freeze on/off feature avoids introducing clipping noise, and the boundaries are seamlessly connected. The pitch envelope allows for +/-24st modulation on a per-grain basis, enabling you to create kick-like sounds even from a sine wave input. Helisert is a complex streaming looper. It doesn’t rely on sample file drops but rather records and plays back audio inputs simultaneously. The sample-based processing is applied to eliminate noise typically generated when the playback position aligns with the recording position or at the end of the flexible-length loop. The Stream-lock function allows you to hold that moment, and even then, you can change the playing length. The overdub and poly parameters would be good for ambient texture. The transition slew curve can be adjusted to add a liquid filter-like nuance following the trigger button. Notably, all parameters are modulatable, ensuring compatibility with LFOs for added versatility.
