Cabinet and Speaker Type: The 412 RECT Essentials wave audio format impulse response library is based on measurement data from and seeking to recreate the sound of a MESA/Boogie® Rectifier® Standard (Oversized) 4×12 closed back cabinet loaded with 2003 Celestion® T4335 Vintage 30 speakers. This particular combination – largely the result of the unique tonality for this narrow space in time of this speaker model’s production – results in a sound that is full yet tight in the lows, authoritative and forward in the mids, and smooth on top, with just enough bite to cut through a dense modern mix when paired with the right mic/mix selection. The lack of overly whomping low end and harsh high end makes this file set incredibly versatile, and useful for a multitude of styles and applications.

Puremagnetik has released Devil07, which is an emulation of the classic Roland TR-707 drum machine as upgraded by Diabolical Devices. It is available for Ableton Live 8, Kontakt 4, Renoise 2.7 and Logic 9. The TR-707 used for this library was completely upgraded by master circuit bending technician Diabolical Devices. Using a system of patches and switches, each “bent” sound was explored and all of its expressions captured with high resolution a/d conversion. The library includes a collection of “Mechanical”, “Bitpitched”, “Shorted” and “Rusted” sounds all categorized into individual banks. The Ableton Live version is a standalone Live Rack. It has been programmed to deliver a seamless instrument experience with easily tweakable expression and voicing parameters.

Just Ambience Construction Sites

Get a fine collection of composite german construction site ambiences. 144 minutes (5,04 GB) with all the hammering, sawing, digging, drilling, some yelling workers, squeaky crawling excavators and loud jack hammers. All edited, cleaned, mixed and packed with metadata. Some ambiences were tweaked to seamless loop from end to start. The ambiences were mostly recorded with a Sound Devices 744t and a Sound Devices Mix-PreD through a Beyerdynamic MC930 ORTF setup and RODE NTG-4 microphone. All sounds were recorded over weeks at several different construction site around Stuttgart / Germany. From very small sites recorded close up to huge construction sites with lots different typical working sounds.
