Genuine Bass is developed for multi genre music production. Play high key notes to express soulful RnB progressions or get into the low midrange for old school hip hop bass riffing. Pick vs. Fingers? No more battle between the two techniques, because we sampled the bass guitar twice – using the pick and using the finger. Covering 3 octaves (370 samples) of a 5-string electric bass using fingers and pick technique programmed into two multi-sample presets. 5 velocity layers were recorded per each note (pp, p, mp, mf, f) Finger Sound preset has a duller and deeper sonic characteristics, best for mellow production. Pick Sound preset executes more treble and driver bass sound, ideal for aggressive rocking vibe.
