This collection of sound effects are from the vast vault at Pinewood Studios (U.K.), the “MGM of Europe”. The library contain sounds in analog recordings from the early days of film till today. It was cleaned, edited, de-noised and digitally mastered for CD audio format use.
What L.A. Riot was to Hip Hop, Amsterdamned is to Techno, Trance & House music. We have crammed 74 minutes of Techno and deep house construction kits onto this CD. There are hundreds of dance loops, bass parts, huge synth riffs, TB303 lines, ambient pads, and vocal hooks for the user to manipulate to make slammin house music and trippy trance music. All the material is from the collections of the top house and techno producers in the world, giving users direct access to the underground sounds of Europe’s explosive house club scene as well as new funky California Ambient textures.
Etymology formed Skeleton Crew in 1982, Tom Cora and Fred Frith’s intent was to push the resources o sound and music. As an extension of the one mn band principle, band musicians became instrument designers cnstructing musical contraptions to be played by the feet. With their four-limbes approach to music, Skeleton Crew performed hundreds of concerts in North America, Europe and Japan. This most recent Frith-Cora collaboration, recorded especially for this sound library, was performed in the fall of 1995.
