Yamaha’s first genuine Voicebank which offers a female natural Japanese voice in VOCALOID5. This female Japanese voicebank features smooth vocals with clear and powerful long tones.
VOCALOID5 has 4 voicebanks (Japanese/English), over 1000 vocal phrases and over 1000 audio samples. You can use the singing voice quickly and customize your own vocal. And MOST IMPORTANTLY, now it’s also available as VST (WIN) and AU (MAC). VOCALOID and its succeeding versions are voice synthesizing applications that have been sold commercially since 2004. VOCALOID began from the simple concept of synthesizing the human vocals for singing. From the start this was never an easy task for the programmers behind the software, but from that beginning VOCALOID™ has grown into a worldwide phenomenon, spawning new musicians, albums, figurines and even concerts.
Sweet ANN, codenamed originally “JODIE”, is an English VOCALOID developed and distributed by PowerFX Systems AB., and was released in June 2007 for the VOCALOID2 engine. Her voice bank was originally developed for the the first VOCALOID engine before being ported. She is voiced by an Australian singer whose artist name is “Jody”. Other than a name, her voice provider’s identity has not been revealed.
Tonio is an English VOCALOID developed and distributed by ZG Limited, and was released in July 2010 for the VOCALOID2 engine. Tonio is advertised as a “virtual vocalist modelled on the voice of professional male classical singer”; his voice provider has never been revealed.
Zhiyu Moke (徵羽 摩柯) is a Chinese VOCALOID to be developed and distributed by Shanghai HENIAN Co. Ltd. He is expected to release for the VOCALOID4 engine in July 2018.
His voice provider is Shangqing Su (苏尚卿; Sū Shàngqīng), a Chinese voice actor from 729.
Mo Qingxian (墨 清弦) is an upcoming Chinese VOCALOID4 to be developed by Shanghai HENIAN Co. Ltd. Qingxian was a runner up entry to the first “VOCALOID™ CHINA” contest in 2012, held for choosing the design of the first Chinese VOCALOID and was a Vsinger supporting character for four years. Her voice is provided by Mingyue (冥月 Míngyuè), a Chinese professional singer.
