    Abstractum II is the successor of Abstractum I and contains a set playable atmospheres, textures and drones. Ranging from alchemistic, cosmic atmosphere’s to ethereal and bone-chilling soundscapes. Abstractum II features over 359 MB of sample material hand-picked from Yuroun’s personal library and created with a custom Reaktor ensemble. Each of the presets makes full use of Alchemy’s remix pads, offering a total of 440 sound variations. Use the remix pad and tweak knobs to find sounds that inspire you, or just fit well into your mix.

    Absynth Heliopolis is a collection of 128 evocative sounds aimed at ambient music, but also perfect for modern film scoring and deep electronica. The collection is full of dark and beautiful pads, soaring and twisting soundscapes, subtle and shifting leads and keys, plus gentle and disturbing synth sequences and basslines. Something of a ‘concept album’ style soundset, each prest has been designed to reflect the fictional city of Heliopolis: a once great metropolis on a distant planet, now reduced to dust and decay, with only sombre stories to relive its once great history.

    The main bulk of this set ranges from nice compression with tone shaping, to effects where nasty growling distortions are possible (and many can do both). Throw in some oddball robotic ringing effects, and you have a sonic arsenal. Tube FM 4 is a good choice if you need something a little different, from unique dynamic control to total sonic destruction. These effects can be used in many different situations (almost a year after release and some users have reported to me that they are still finding new uses), and each effect can give a wide range of results depending on how they are tweaked. Nebula 3 pro or better is needed for these to work as intended.

Inspired by the successful G610 Library, new driven programs have been added, which offer different degrees of saturation while the old programs have been sampled in a different way usign moderate settings. Those new programs will give you full, warm, and thick NVE sound! The new programs are available as 192kHz, 96kHz ,88.2kHz, 48kHz and 44.1 versions, so nebula won’t have to convert them.
