All of the diva presets shared, have now been sorted by sound ,that should make them easier to find and use :) As we all know, Diva is ( VERY ) cpu hungry and in making this pack i’ve had to change some of the set voices on some presets just to play them :( Most of the changes have been made to some pads as playing even one note set my pc into the red. Funny thing was they sounded just about the same set with 6 voices as par to 16 and it was better to hear them this way ,than wory about my pc going on fire.
The VST world is a jungle full of snake oil, very few brands manage to get character and a sense of realism in their virtual instruments. Sound Design 19 is a collection of patches for Repro-5, 128 delicate patches from the sound-lab (144 patches in total, with variations). The soundset is on one side inspired by ambient cinematic filmscores such as Interstellar, Gravity, Blade Runner and 400 Days by modern composer Wojciech Golczewski and on the other side taking its inspiration from retro analog and digital synth gear and the albums that arouse and came to life from those synths in the early to mid 80’s with albums by Vince Clarke, Tangerine Dream, Enya and Vangelis. The result is a crossbreed of cinematic, underscoring atmospheres to classic synth emulations, shimmery pads, distinctive basses, potent analog leads and corroded yet fragile synth keys, widely useful in many genres whether you produce cinematic music, ambient, synthwave or EDM.
