Acoustic EZBASS EBX

P2P | 29 August 2022 | WiN: 526MB | MAC: 527MB

The Acoustic EBX is an expansion for EZbass featuring a traditional four-string fretted acoustic bass guitar. Captured with both an external condenser microphone as well as an onboard piezo pickup, it offers the absolute best of both worlds in terms of tone. On the one hand, you have the natural, deep and inherent timbre of the acoustic instrument itself and, on the other, a direct and almost electric bass-like flavor. This gives you an EZbass expansion with a sonic breadth that spans the entire range – from timeless acoustic resonance to blunt electric precision. In addition to the instrument itself, the Acoustic EBX also includes a custom MIDI library as well as a collection of presets covering mix-ready tones tailored for both amped and acoustic scenarios. If you’re a broad-scope songwriter looking to boost your EZbass with an instrument that can handle anything from backing up just a single acoustic guitar and a voice to holding its ground in a dense full band instrumentation, this one’s your winning bet. Simply put: an acoustic bass never sounded so vibrant and electrifyingly good – until now.

What would an exquisite brushed train beat be without the cadenced thump of the bass? A smooth jazz groove without its mandatory walking bassline? A basic backbeat without the accented rumble of the bass to back up its twos and fours? To be honest, a rhythm section without all its cog wheels spinning in perfect symmetry is simply a stumped machine running at half capacity. The Acoustic Songwriter EZbass MIDI pack was created in tandem with its counterparts for drums and EZkeys. It offers a broad collection of fundamental basslines for use in any intimate, organic-sounding and acoustic song scenario where the bass isn’t supposed to eat away at what matters the most in the end: the song. Expect a wide variety of basic basslines for your train beats, basic backbeats and subtle shuffles – ideal for use with the Upright EBX, the Fretless EBX or, frankly, any source of sound in the EZbass universe. Welcome to the thumping pulse of many of your next acoustic pop, Americana, indie and folk songs.

SILKY SMOOTH.

EZbass MIDI inspired by Latin ballads from the ’50s through to today. The rhythmic heartbeat of Latin music is ever-so-present regardless of whether it be wildly busy uptempo songs or, as in this case, ballads. The bass, of course, is as unquestionable and integral in this cosmos as the rhythm itself. What would a laid-back bossa, salsa or cumbia be without the forward drive of the bass? This collection of EZbass MIDI will take you on a journey that starts off in the 1950s and ends up right smack in the pop-inspired now. Get ready for a broad collection of fundamental basslines designed to add that extra bit of groove, silky smooth finesse and pastel-like color to your Latin-inspired ballads.

Upright EBX v1.0.0 EZBASS

P2P | 23 September 2021 | 577.9 MB

The iconic upright bass. Welcome to the definition of a timeless tone. Double-bass, standup bass, contrabass, bass fiddle, violone or, as in our case, upright bass. Although it goes by many names, it’s one of those instruments that hardly needs one – you can distinguish it just at the strike of a note. The slightly muffled but still vibrantly resonant, earthy and dark timbre of the upright bass has seeped through every tier in our music history, from its first iteration several hundred years ago until today. Honestly, only one word carries enough weight to describe its incontestable role in music as we know it: timelessness. The Upright EBX comes with a handpicked, acoustic upright bass, sampled to capture the complex and unique hallmarks of this classic instrument. In addition to the sounds, it also includes a broad selection of presets as well as a custom content of MIDI basslines.

P2P | 10 April 2021 | UPDATE ONLY: 45.5 MB

The Metal EBX is an expansion for EZbass designed to provide a broad palette of tones for metal. Combining detail, clarity and extreme power in the form of a pristinely defined low end, this instrument checks off all the characteristics needed to cut through just as well a brutal death metal track at break-neck speed as a rhythmic progressive passage, a dense wall of guitars or literally anything in between or beyond. Being bright and articulate at the same time as it’s dark and menacing, this is the definition of a great allround bass for heavy music. In addition to the sounds, the Metal EBX also comes with a custom MIDI library as well as a broad selection of presets tailored to cater to all the different facets of metal as we know it. A serious low end is the foundation of any serious metal track. This is the fundamental bass for anyone serious about just that. Welcome to the new go-to bass in your arsenal of metal tools.
