Tempo Synced Noise Design for Ableton Max for Live

The original tempo synced noise generator for Ableton Max for Live. With Noisr you can generate noise bursts that range from Short Percussive bursts (like a shaker) to long risers and fillers. NoisR uses a slightly different approach to synthesis. Very much like a modular synth oscillator, NoisR does not require a note on to start playing. Just press the play button on your Ableton transport and start selecting your noise waveform. Choose from White noise, Pink, Brown, Mechanical Noise, Electric Noise, Crowd noise, etc! The Kandinsky inspired ADSR’s can be used to shape the timing and dimension of your sound. Then apply NoisR’s multimode filter to further shape your results. Binaries is a collection of FM sounds that where captured from a 90ies ISA soundcard. Almost every soundcard of this time contained an OPL3 chip that was capable of producing 4-Operator FM sounds from 8 different waveforms and several tricky algorithms. According to these becnhmarks Binaries delivers a stunning collection of classical FM patches like Rhodes, Clavinet, Bells and Basses but also delivers several non-classified sound design patches. Each patch in the library is made of several velocity layers that reproduce the authentic sound of this time as it was heard in hundreds of computer games. Sampled from the soundboard´s noisy 16bit output all sounds introduce an unique mixture of pristine FM clarity and dusty digital to analog conversion.

Noland consists of 3 Max for Live devices: the Noland I and II synthesizers and the NolandFX audio effect. Two unique synths and harmoniser effect for singular and surprising sounds. A creative XY gesture-controlled poly synth with unique automation and colour settings. Noland II is a unique and innovative instrument – it is a sonic map waiting to be discovered. Instead of sliders or knobs, Noland can be controlled completely with individual, automatable XY pads. Each XY pad controls one or several parameters at the same time. On the filter XY pad for example, the X-axis controls the cutoff while the Y-axis controls the resonance. Instantaneous unique synth sounds with fun gesture control. Once you’ve placed the mouse cursor over an XY pad, your mouse movements are recorded the moment you hold down the mouse button. The recording of your movement stops, when you release the mouse button.

CatStretch is specially tailored for extreme sonic manipulations in the spectral and time domain. You can adjust the position of a sample with the ‘Scrub’ dial.
