London Solo Strings picks up where other string libraries leave off – delivering unmatched realism, nuance, and playability right out of the box. Just load it up and start playing. Featuring beautifully captured performances on violin, viola, cello, and the often-overlooked contrabass, this library brings each instrument to life with stunning detail. From the warmth of a 1740-era violin to the depth of the contrabass, these recordings were performed by world-class musicians using top-tier instruments and captured in pristine resolution. The 2.0 update takes this library even further, adding a beautiful new user interface, looped articulations and release samples for more natural performances, speed controls for tailored expression, improved playback performance, and an expanded palette of expressive FX. These enhancements make London Solo Strings more responsive, versatile, and inspiring than ever.
This is a custom crafted version of the choir library, heavily modified to be more useful in a modern sampler like Kontakt. It’s an old library (very hard to find now, too) but extremely useful because it has consonants sampled individually (such as T, P, K, and Tzz) as well as uncommon singable consonants (such as Mmmm, Rrrr, and Zzzz). It is best used to “punch up” your favorite choir by overlaying syllables and consonants to help enunciate whatever your choir is already singing. The flexibility of this library to create any word you want is pretty good, just add your own reverb to blend it in with your choir library of choice.

The Duduk, made out of aged apricot wood, is an historic Armenian traditional woodwind instrument. It has now been made famous as it was featured in the Dune movies scored by Hans Zimmer. The sound of it is meditative and haunting, sounding similar to an oboe and saxophone. The reed of the Duduk is hand made from reed cane and requires preparation with water to make it come alive again by producing sound. The Duduk tells an ancient story reaching back possibly 1500 years. To this day you can hear the ancestors’ cries and teachings through it. This Kontakt instrument is mostly 192kHz, 32 bit, 2.82GB featuring main and also experimental articulations that are expanded in extended chromatic scales. The uniqueness comes from the way the Duduk was recorded and further explored in the snapshots.
