Starting with rich and complex hybrid instruments made from combinations of analogue, real world and purely digital sources, DRIFT002 oozes deep with undulating filigree and patina. Long, slow evolving patchscapes and gnarled polyrhythmic cinematica can easy by morphed into glistening keys, phosphorous leads or dark, dark basses. New to DRIFT002 is a three way BPM synced tremolo system which adds extra movement and throb. Control and automate three custom volume LFOs to run at different speeds and different depths to build intriguing rhythmic shimmy…and who wouldn’t want that ?
