SVBLIME EST (OLD LATIN – suggested pronunciation: Sobleema Aest) / Translation: IT’S SUBLIME This library does not contain the sounds of a real orchestra. It is the first product in the world that sounds similar to a real orchestra.
The style originates in 1950’s rock ‘n’ roll, but the sound is a timeless cross-genre staple featured in 60’s R&B, soaring ballads of the 70’s, and instrumental television themes of the 80’s and 90’s. Caution: In legato mode, the BGS will transform your midi into a time machine of bluesy bends so hot you may need to use the [newly introduced] vanilla key switch feature to reign it in. This is a one-of-kind virtual instrument that is a must-have for any producer or media composer.
This collection includes a quality set of 63 Drum Kits for the Native Instruments Kontakt Sampler. You can also load more than 3200 samples with the Redrum module. The audio quality is 24-bit / Stereo. The sampled instruments are classic drum machines and several synthesizer drum kits. Many of the kits are General Midi compatible. Note that these are single sample drum and percussion sounds, not actual rythmic loops. In addition to the Kontakt instruments you can use every wav sample of this library with any other compatible virtual or hardware sampler capable to load wav files such as the MPC.
YANGQIN brings the unmistakable sound of bamboo and steel to modern productions, delivering the beautifully emotive timbres of a traditional Chinese hammered dulcimer. This brand-new KONTAKT-based instrument combines authentic sounds recorded in China with a range of intuitive parameter controls, so you can create dynamic melodies that are rich in character.
Virtual piano, sampled from the artist’s own Yamaha C3 Neo grand piano. Includes Free Kontakt 4 Player. Together with Danish sample specialist Thomas Skarbee and impulse response expert Ernest Cholakis, Alicia Keys has created a virtual piano that meets her professional standards and embodies the soulful sound that has become her trademark as a superstar. This is the piano sound that has helped Miss Keys win multiple Grammys and reach the top of the charts. ALICIA’S KEYS was sampled from her own playing, recorded in the artist’s own studio under the supervision of her trusted engineer, Ann Mincieli. The instrument samples come from Alicia Keys’ very own Yamaha™ C3 Neo grand piano.
The Akebono (literal translation: “Dawn”) Koto Synth was probably released sometime in the mid-1980s. Detailed information in English is scarce, as it was never intended for use by western musicians. It re-creates a number of traditional Japanese instrument sounds using a combination of samples and digital synthesis. Designed primarily as a Koto practice instrument, Akebono uses buttons instead of piano keys, has a joystick for pitch and volume modulation, and a speaker built into the suitcase.
