Zildjian Digital Vault Vol.2 is an exciting collection of orchestral and field cymbal sounds for BFD3, BFD Eco and BFD2. A huge variety of Zildjian cymbal recordings is included alongside a selection of percussion instruments recorded in the same session. Included are carefully selected Classic, K Symphonic and K Constantinople cymbals alongside effect cymbals, gongs, finger-cymbals, crotales, tam tams, temple blocks and more. Playing styles vary from regular sticks and mallets to marching band articulations and clashed, bowed, scraped and water-dipped techniques that provide a huge range of creative sounds. All instruments are recorded in intricate detail by sampling guru. The versatile range of sounds makes Zildjian Digital Vault Vol.2 suitable for all styles of music and soundtrack work.

A great drum room! A classic Neve console! 86 drums to choose from… and a legendary rock engineer! Rather than use preassembled drum kits, Andy chose his favorite pieces to create different drum kits for his expansion pack. Each kit was meticulously tuned by Andy himself to create the most kick ass drum library available. 65 Gigs never sounded so good! Recorded at Sound City Studios through the Neve 8028 console, Classic Drums contains samples recorded in the big tracking room as well as in the echo chamber. Classic Drums has as many as 256 velocity levels when fully installed.

Henry Hirsch is credited with being the impetus behind the vintage gear movement in the recording industry that continues today. He began his career in Berlin in the late 70’s as a studio musician playing the piano. After a few years he returned to New York City where he opened his first recording studio in his apartment, later moving to Hoboken, New Jersey and opening his Waterfront Studios where he recorded every band in the area and honed his engineering skills. In 1985 he met fellow musician Lenny Kravitz and they became music partners for the next 25 years. After Lenny’s album “Are You Gonna Go My Way” had huge success, Henry built Lenny’s Roxie Studio in Miami Florida.

BFD Signature Snares Vol.2 is the second instalment of Yamaha artist signature snares for BFD3, BFD Eco and BFD2 – 5 detailed and immaculately recorded snares with varied beater types to swap into your kits. The snares are captured in similar conditions to the BFD Jazz & Funk and BFD Percussion expansions as well as those used for the Mapleworks kits in BFD3. The sounds work well with any combination of other BFD library sounds, offering a punchy and upfront sound with dynamic playability. When used in BFD3 and BFD2, the snares offer an additional ‘rim click’ articulation as well as a ‘half-edge’ for use with electronic drum positional sensing.
