It is full of authentic retro disco and club sounds but with a modern feel and with the subtle tang of those delicious 80’s guitar licks, smooth rhodes, sizzling synths, funky basslines and a mixture of live drums for the funk and disco and also some stomping house beats. The concept behind the construction kits is to allow you to filter and mash up the full mix as if you were sampling from vinyl but also, to give you complete flexibility, each full mix is split down into its component parts to allow you to work with individual instrument loops as well.

Dubstep 1 is a brand new Download Pack featuring over 170MB of brand new beats, bass, synths and Sound FX for new wave musicians, producers and DJs looking to incorporate some authentic Dubstep samples into their productions! The term ‘dubstep’ was coined by Ammunition Promotions and first used on an XLR8R magazine cover that featured Horsepower Productions. It gained full acceptance with the Dubstep Allstars Vol 1 CD (Tempa) mixed by DJ Hatcha. In 2007 dubstep producers are increasingly absorbing dub reggae sonic aesthetics – sub bass, reverb and delay – to forge a distinct path away from associate genres like drum & bass, house and breaks. Using different rhythmic patterns like the 2step and halfstep beat patterns (yet deployed in the same tempo range) dubstep can create senses of differing momentum within the same DJ set. At best, dub reggae sonic aesthetics also allow a broad range of new musical influences to be introduced with a sense of coherence. Pure continues the theme of pads, but with Pure we delve into the world of nice and pure sounds. With Pure we’ve included rhythmic loops. Pure comes with 170 non Rhythmic patches and 121 Rythmic patches. We tried the sounds of Pure and Dark with rhythms and thought they sounded really good, so we’ve included loops and we intend to expand on the loops to complement the pads. Initially both Dark and Pure will start out like Pads, around 3GB in size. The trilogy of Pads, Dark and Pure and our ongoing updates, all 3 libraries will continue to grow in size, just like Pads has now grown to around 8GB in size.
