Raw and unfiltered drums straight out the MPC2000. Hard and bangin. To create this kit I took chopped breaks and layered them to create a full, knocking sound.
All recorded through some of the finest analogue outboard and presented in various tonal variations this Components pack gives you the edge when it comes to getting the top end just right. When making these hats and the loops we used a mix of techniques. Some loop we recorded direct from the legendary TR-909, some we created using old samplers but all of them are swinging and grooving with a life and musicality which will bring your beat alive be it House music, Disco, EDM, Hip hop or something else. Each section also comes with a full complement of sampler programs making it easy to import these into your sampler whatever your using be it Ableton, Kontakt, Reason, Battery or another.
This is a special Lucid Samples Sample Pack release for MOTU. We are happy to put in your hands about 1.2GB of quality sounds and loops. We look forward to your musical success! The MOTU & Lucid Samples Teams.

Spark is a playground of bite-sized sounds that blur the lines between organic charm and electronic precision. From crisp synth stabs and shimmering mallets to quirky percussive blips, every sound in SPARK is designed to catch the ear and ignite ideas. Built on a 2-layer hybrid engine, SPARK lets you weave together unexpected sonic pairings — a glockenspiel flicker wrapped in analog warmth, or a dusty synth chirp bouncing off a wooden click. The result? Sounds that feel alive. Playable textures that groove, glitch, glide, and growl — perfect for inventive hooks, driving patterns, and musical surprises. SPARK thrives in the space between rhythm and melody. It’s fast, fresh, and deeply inspiring. For composers, producers, and sound designers alike, SPARK is your go-to tool when the usual just won’t do.
Classic drum sounds mixed with experimental textures, ‘Process’ is a great match for those looking to infuse a unique sound into a Hip Hop production.
