Paper has a unique sonic texture that’s perfect for creating distinctive snares, claps and percussive elements such as clicks and rips. We’ve made a right mess by tearing up old paper bags, baking paper and crafted our own makeshift box kick drums for this kit, so you don’t have to!
First up, multi-instrumentalist and master percussionist, Carl “Butch” Smalls, who played with Parliament, Bootsy’s Rubber Band, The Dramatics, and more, brings his percussion talents that were so prevalent and integral on classic Death Row Records’ releases from Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, 2Pac, and Tha Dogg Pound to name but a few. The shakers, vibraslaps, and congas come alive for the end user, allowing them the opportunity to use vintage instruments played by a musician with one of kind resume. How can you have an expansion pack covering this Funk era without some talk box? Next up, SlimWav (Diddy, Mary J. Blige, Justin Bieber, Summer Walker, Bryson Tiller, and more) delivers some expert vocals via this instrument, allowing the end user to season up their productions with some hard-to-find funked out vocals. He REALLY opens up, gets busy, and rounds out the kit with excellent vocal fills and phrasings.

A soft, textured upright felt piano for lo-fi, ambient, cinematic and emotional music. Intimate Felt Piano captures the quiet character of a double-felted Kawai KU3B upright piano, designed to feel warm, close and human rather than clean, polished and clinical. Shape delicate felt piano melodies, nostalgic tape-warped ambience, intimate neoclassical ideas and soft cinematic textures using three unique sample sets, detailed noise controls and flexible mic blending.
‘EDM Floor Killers’is cocked, loaded and ready to drop hard with a killer collection of anthemic synth lines, massive builds and drops, euphoric effect risers and sweeps, heavyweight infectious drum rhythms and dope basslines, all finished off with a set of fat patches for you to get really creative. The main focus of the pack is to bring the most epic hands-in-the-air moments to your studio. This pack is purely about capturing that essence and smashing the biggest riffs and cramming as many of them as possible into a ridiculously fat 1.68 GB of content. In more detail, the pack contains 107 Bass Loops, 83 Drum Loops, 229 Music Loops, 24 Kick Loops, 45 Vocal Loops, 20 Bass Hits, 14 Hats, 20 Kicks, 17 Percussion samples, 20 Snares, 75 FX, 13 Synth Multis totaling 145 Samples, 20 Synth Hits, 492 REX2 Files and 68 soft sampler patches for NNXT, Halion, SFZ, Kontakt and EXS24. All single non-looping sounds are Maschine-tagged. Producers searching for the tools to make not only EDM but any anthemic Electronic Dance Music with big builds and drops like Electro House, Trap, Progressive, and even DnB would benefit from investigating the content of this pack as there are many interesting sounds that would fit different genres.
The Duduk, made out of aged apricot wood, is an historic Armenian traditional woodwind instrument. It has now been made famous as it was featured in the Dune movies scored by Hans Zimmer. The sound of it is meditative and haunting, sounding similar to an oboe and saxophone. The reed of the Duduk is hand made from reed cane and requires preparation with water to make it come alive again by producing sound. The Duduk tells an ancient story reaching back possibly 1500 years. To this day you can hear the ancestors’ cries and teachings through it. This Kontakt instrument is mostly 192kHz, 32 bit, 2.82GB featuring main and also experimental articulations that are expanded in extended chromatic scales. The uniqueness comes from the way the Duduk was recorded and further explored in the snapshots.
