About the ney instrument: The ney is a wind instrument made of reed and has a long body with 6 or 7 holes that can be covered with the fingers to create different sounds, resembling a flute. The sound of the ney is very deep, otherworldly, and impressive – it is thought that it represents the human as the symbol of ‘absolute’. The origin of the word ‘ney’ dates back many years, first used in history in Sumerian society. The first neyzen known is Mevlâna J. Rûmî. In 18th-century Istanbul, the majority of the musicians were Mevlevi dervishes. Dervishes also taught their pupils how to play the ney, thus, neyzens have been raised in lineages over the centuries.

10 Synthwave construction kits with Wav and the corresponding MIDI files from Deep Data Loops. 1980s instrumentation in terms of synthesizers and drum machines were used to get that authentic feeling. Still you could exchange all sounds via the given MIDI files to be coming from your favourite software and hardware synths or drums. The kits have drums tracks with a seperate mixdowns, bassline plus 3 melodic synth lines. The latter are sometimes chords, leads or appregiators. You might continue to arrange these kits or add lines or get inspired by single loops. As always all content is royalty free.

Ambient Guitars Vol 1 contains 300MB of ambient guitar samples ideal for use in soundtrack and downtempo compositions. The samples were created using acoustic and electric guitars tuned to DADGAD and open G tuning, a Music Man amp and massive delays, reverbs and distortions. Pedals used included various Electro Harmonix pedals and some stereo microphone techniques on the amp. Further processing was also used in software with Audio Damage plug-ins, PSP Audioware plug-ins and various cut up editing techniques. All of the sounds were heavily influenced by Boards of Canada, My Bloody Valentine, Broadcast, Eno and weird psych folk records.
