Now, with a new HiDPI browsing experience, an overhauled Factory Selection, new creative effects, and under-the-hood audio improvements, the next evolution is nearly here.
We found a beautiful old African Balafon in a friend’s old studio so we could not resist turning it into a carefully sampled Kontakt instrument. We have recorded this beauty with different microphones and preamps and also in different locations to get some interesting resonances and on some also a little room from the beginning. We then processed these recordings with different hardware saturation and also with some state of the art software tools to make them sound woody, natural and warm. The sounds are carefully tuned and really clean. From there we build a custom GUI for you to manipulate the original until you get the Balafon / Woody sound you are looking for. You have 48 variations to start with. 24 x brush and 24 x sticks. Each instrument has 49 notes. You got some presets which sound more like the real instruments and some which sound like a piano or flutes, some more like soft pads or mystic drums. Velocity is also set to a very musical level for authentic playing.

SMOOTH GUITARS VOL 1 is instrument based on electric guitar sound source. It is both, Kontakt instrument and sample pack containing jazzy and funky elements. This is NOT a fully sampled guitar with many various articulations. This is a tool that has several complementary elements created for composers seeking ready to go loops, licks and phrases. Phrases and loops are prerecorded, and (if used in Kontakt) are tempo synced! Loops and licks are recorded in three keys (A, C and E), in 90 bpm! They are predominantly in pentatonic scale, so most of the time they can be used in both, major and minor scales. There are 234 audio files in total. Guitars used here are vintage 1976 Gibson ES 175 and 2016 Custom Shop El Diablo Stratocaster.
Touch The Universe is proud to present “Cloud Fields ” for the Kontakt 7 sampler using the “Photosynthesis” Engine from Exotic States. The library contains 115 tediously crafted presets from over 200 individual sources and is suitable for any contemporary electronic and ambient music genres. Nearly Each patch contains three levels of samples, which is why there are more sound sources than patches. Furthermore, each sound source utilizes a patch created by Touch The Universe, so the entire library utilizes completely original sources.
