The Wagner tuba, conceived by Richard Wagner for his Ring of the Nibelung, is made in two sizes, Bb (tenor instrument) and F (bass instrument). In the symphony orchestra two of each instrument have always been used. Because they have a horn mouthpiece they are played by hornists. Playing technique and position underscore the fact that the instrument is molded entirely on the French horn; the four valves are operated with the left hand, and not, as on all other tubas, with the right. Unlike the horn, however, the bell faces upward.

The Alto Flute instrument from the Woodwinds Section of the Vienna Symphonic Library (VSL) in Kontakt (.nki) format..  The Alto Flute in G is a transposing instrument which extends the flutes’ lower tone range. There are two types: the straight shape and that with a curved headpiece. A straight-headed model was used for the recordings. The alto flute has a full, warm sound suggesting mystery especially in the lower range.

The Noah Bells tuned percussion library is a deeply sampled collection of 21 authentic Indian Khadki bells in a wide ascending range of sizes and pitches, from massively resonant deep notes to small, brittle high notes. These hand-crafted, hammered metal bells are smelted from simple iron and copper mixtures, producing a golden or bronze hue. They range in size from over two feet to less than an inch in diameter, with carved wooden clappers. They have a dark, raspy and heavy tone with lots of mid-range body, a rather variable sustain and strong, complex overtones and undertones.
