Susie Ibarra is all about immersion. Whether it’s environmental or cultural, she uses the medium of sound as a conduit for transportation. For her second Originals pack, we worked with her to create an Ableton environment that encompasses that philosophy. This template contains drum racks, melodic sampler instruments based on indigenous Southeast Asian percussion, and effects that glue the whole package together. Use this template in your compositions to transport your listeners to new environments of the natural world. In addition to instrumental and effected one-shots, this package is rounded out with some of Susie’s performed loops. This template was created in Ableton Live 9.

Microtron Tape 2 contains an expertly recorded Mellotron Flute, Cello and Octave Recorders library. All of the original imperfections, vintage analog quality and performance nuances of the Mellotron M400 have been immaculately captured through a Neumann U47 Microphone and Reeves Custom 50 Amplifier. Microtron Tape 2 Ableton Live Pack is natively programmed and builds upon Live’s rack features to create the same blending possibilities as can be achieved with a physical Mellotron. Native Live effects are completely integrated with multisample mode racks so that any Live user can instantly load these sounds. In addition, Microtron Tape 2 includes 50 Live Clips performed by professional studio keyboardists. Each clip comes preprogrammed with the multi sound Microtron rack for the most flexibility and editing possibilities.

Phonik | Sounds of the Lush Paraphonic 505

Phonik brings the celebrated Paraphonic-505 right to your desktop. It includes the famous Orchestral and Synth sections available as an Ableton Live Pack, Kontakt and Logic instrument. The Synth section has four waveforms and the Bass section has three preset bass sound types to choose from. The String section has two selectable String preset sounds. Puremagnetik has captured all three Ensemble modes of the original for each voice. Sounds from the three tone sections can be blended for numerous palettes while the built-in Ensemble chorusing effect warms and thickens the tone for an authentic vintage character. Similar to the ARP Omni, the Paraphonic 505 is considered one of the finest string synths of its era.
