P821 MDN Tape is based on Marc Daniel Nelson’s personal Stephens 821 2” tape machine Which was utilized at the Producer’s Workshop, renowned for producing iconic albums such as The Wall, Aja, Rumours, and others. The P821 signature sound is very open and has a large sonic character, as there is very little electronics and zero transformers in the tape machine, making the sound stage massive and no aggressive compression or clamping down. This is the first plugin of its type where you’re actually hearing TAPE and how it reacts. Now, hearing the P821 MDN Tape plugin recreates that same experience. It’s truly incredible and unlike anything else out there.

Miaow Wah is an augmented virtual Wah pedal plug-in, capable of simulating a wide range of Wah pedals, auto filters, modulation effects and more. The plug-in includes a wide variety of predefined Wah models from all eras. They can all be controlled manually with an expression pedal, or can be triggered automatically in the “auto” (envelope follower) or LFO modes to your taste. It is easy to create your own Wah pedal from factory presets with the built-in Tone Maps browser or the Wah editor. With the ability to define custom filters with multiple control options, Miaow Wah extends the concept of a Wah pedal to flangy tones, univibes, phasing effects, filtered tremolos and more. This plug-in is also available as a built-in effect inside Blue Cat’s Axiom, the multi effects processor for guitar and bass.
The BQ-A based on Classic British EQ from the ’70s. With a surprisingly wide range of tonal variations, the BQ-A is an invaluable and professional audio tool with great flexibility and excellent sonic ability. The main of the EQ section allows four frequencies at any one time, switchable to one of four frequencies: Low Filter (Shelf): 50, 80, 100, 150 Hz; Low-Mid Filter (Bell): 250, 500, 1k, 2k Hz; High-Mid Filter (Bell): 3k, 5k, 7k, 9k Hz; High Filter (Shelf): 8k, 10k, 12k, 15k Hz. A series of three high pass filters at 18 dB per octave and three low pass filters at 12 dB per octave are arranged at the ends of the EQ section. They are unique in that the switches can be pushed in simultaneously, offering distinct cut filter combinations with unusual filter curves.
