    StompDelay is a creative delay plug-in (VST, AAX and RTAS for Windows; AudioUnit, VST, AAX and RTAS for Mac OSX) designed to provide a wide range of sounds from lush analog tape delays through vibrant loops, from classic ping-pong to scratchy pitch shifts. It features both traditional delay effects and a looper when in “infinite operation mode” (called Infinity mode) that offers continuous tap tempo, as well as accurate tape simulation, including simulating the volume drop that occurs when fast forwarding or cueing the tape.

    Long favored by studio, live and broadcast engineers, the BSS® DPR-402 dynamics processor is known for its punch, versatility, and the explosive sound it delivered on countless rock, dance and hip-hop hits since the 80s. Working in association with BSS Audio, Waves has now modeled this long-unavailable unit, bringing back its diverse functions and sounds, and adding new features for extra flexibility and ease of use. BSS DPR-402 can be used as a straightforward compressor, limiter or de-esser. But it really shows its colors when these processes are combined, and when it is used to selectively process individual parts of the audio band, leaving the rest of the spectrum untouched. The endless possibilities range from low-frequency expansion and narrow-band compression to general dynamic equalization to create surprising enhancement effects.

    TS-1 is a frequency dependent transient shaper designed to manage the attack and sustain of an incoming audio signal. Thanks to our “Compression by Saturation” concept, TS-1 works great to add warmth and punch to your drum tracks without losing dynamics. TS-1 features two separate detection circuits for Attack and Sustain, whose signals can be filtered to improve the detection (SC filtering) or to color the processed audio. A soft clipping circuit will gently saturate and “compress” your signal, in a similar way to a tape saturation.

    Resound is a software audio delay effect processor that emulates the sound and operation of vintage magnetic-tape echo units. Whilst not a direct copy of any one particular model, it takes features from several of the classic delay devices, and unites them into a convincing and pleasingly retro sounding effect. Resound not only models the characteristic mechanical noise present in hardware magnetic-tape units, but also allows the noise to be controlled; from gentle warmth and distortion, to noisy, gritty, and unstable. The sound can be shaped further using the moveable highpass filter. And with feedback set beyond a certain intensity, Resound is even capable of self-oscillation.

    Resound’s echoes can either be synced to the host tempo (expressing delay times as musical subdivisions of a beat, each echo will be exactly in time with the host) or in free-time mode (allowing any delay time, up to 2 seconds.) The reverse mode adds further flexibility: by playing each delay backwards, Resound can produce unique effects beyond what hardware magnetic-tape units are capable of.
