This adventure in sound design takes full advantage Zebra 2.3’s features to create a sound arsenal that range from dance to new age patches. The wide range of standard and extravagant patches feature experimental combinations of different synthesis methods ranging from FM, Subtractive, Wavetable, Physical Modelling, Analog Modelling, to various hybrid combinations. Patches are fully tweakable and performance ready with all 4 XY’s mapped on every preset!
An ethno-tropical sound set with a gentle breeze of warm equatorial regions. Botanica – Nightfall’s themed is built around an alien tropical planet where flora vegetation dominated the fauna, the temperature everywhere is high and the air is full of moisture. Sounds have an ethno-tropical vibe and lots of colors in timbres, patches have versatile macro setup and despite the focus on one tropical theme they are very diverse. Patches sound full and wide and you can hear a noticeable substance. This soundset is perfect for keyboard players with plenty of keyboard sounds that give off a lot of color and flavor. The cartoonish themes also makes it a perfect complement for an indie game score.
Zebra “Pandora” is a collection of 200 patches for u-he’s Zebra 2. With a focus on darker, organic, edgier, distorted and noisier sounds inspired by artists such as Jesper Kyd, Björk and Yoko Kanno and composers such as Tyler Bates, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross and Michl Britsch. This sound set offers a staggering amount of choices and is surprisingly versatile, equally at home in both epic cinematic hybrid trailer music and underscore/experimental type of film scores. Zebra “Pandora” delivers inspiring arpeggios and sequences, low, powerful, distorted basses and bass lines, keyboards, dark sub pulses, fx’s, atmospheric steam pads, dark expansive soundscapes and edgy inspiring leads, reminiscent of sounds from movies such as “Sicario”, “Assassins Creed II”, “Ex Machina”, “Pandorum”, “Monsters” and “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”.
Zebra Transcendence is a collection of 140 patches for u-he’s Zebra 2. This sound set focuses primarily on original dark, subdued and mellow sounds. Best suited for cinematic underscore/experimental style music. Zebra Transcendence focuses on original sounds custom tailored for today’s film/tv composer. Zebra Transcendence delivers mellow fluid and textured arpeggios, low, powerful, filtered basses and bass lines, inspiring original leads, driving, dark pulses, outer worldly fx’s, soft ambient, filtered, atmospheric pads, and vast experimental soundscapes. These sounds borrow from a variety of influential artists such as William Orbit, David Sylvian, Daft Punk and noted composers such as Thomas Newman, James Newton Howard, Jon Hopkins, Steven Price and Jóhann Jóhannsson. Many patches offer added adaptability programmed into the modwheel and the X/Y pads, to make these sounds come alive.

Zebra Kaleidoscope delivers inspiring sequences in even and odd time signatures, low and powerful basses, pulses, fx’s, ethnic instruments, atmospheric pads, dark expansive soundscapes, and inspiring leads.
Zebra is our wireless modular synthesizer. It combines many different types of synthesis with a powerful modulation engine. Imagine – you can create any additive, freehand or spline-based waveform you like, apply a vast selection of spectral effects, morph between those waves and send them through classic synth filters. Perhaps use that entire sound as modulator for an FM oscillator, or route it through a comb filter – the building block of physical modeling synthesis. All generator modules, all signal paths, all effects are stereo.
