This soundset is about dark, haunting and mysterious filmscore electronica, inspired into the early days of analog synths. Formed by pulsating and emotive sequences and arps, analog and soft mono leads, powerful basses and bass loops, cinematic percussion loops, unique and mysterious keys, mystical and celestial pads, dark atmospheres, weird haunting synths and science fiction effects.
Electronica comes with really fat basses, hard punching drums, warm analog keys and leads, fancy electronic sequences, science fiction effects, and wide open atmospheres. This soundset comes with 128 patches, all valid for any genre of electronic music, this soundset is style independent and on the other hand innovative, thanks to Bazille modular architecture. Here you will find a full gamut soundset to make all kind of electronica music.
For example, Bazille uses mainly FM (called Phase Distortion inside Bazille)to create sounds, which is a digital technique, and there are also lots of advanced modulation possibilities. The morphing sequencer for example is not something you would find in an oldskool modular system!Almost everything in Bazille works with patch cables, you connect different modules together in a chain to create sounds.To drag a cable you click on a module output and then connect it to the input of another module.This way you can connect oscillators to filters, but also oscillators to oscillators, LFO’s to sequencers, etc.So the cables work for audio signal as well as modulation signals (Control Voltages)
Humankind is a collection of four smaller soundsets that were originally released individually back in 2013. They were limited edition collections, only released for a short period of time, and in aid of Oxfam. In Bazille Humankind there are 64 sounds for Bazille. The patches are designed for a variety of uses and genres, although with a focus on the cinematic; all with the quality and dexterity you’d expect.
This soundset contains over 128 presets, most of which are geared towards composers and producers who enjoy merging gritty synth sounds with orchestral instruments. My influences are, but not limited to: Daft Punk’s Tron Legacy, M83’s Oblivion, Michael McCann’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Jonsi, and Ryan Tedder.
Sounds of random blips, grit, 8-bits, circuits, modular craze and your favourite maze together with finetuned synths, leads, basses, pads and sequences… About half of the soundset focus on the random, module and entropy area, the second half focus on complementing synth sounds and sequences, everything carefully designed and selected to co-excist, inspire and feed creativity. For electronic music, experimental, circuit bending, breaks and spices, game composing, effects, random twism, mysticism and more.
Shimmer is a collection of mainly Pads and Sequences for the Superb Modular Synthesizer Bazille. The Pads range from pure beauty to mild chaos, whilst the Sequences are complex rhythms useful for Electronic Genres. All Presets make use of Aftertouch and the Modulation Wheel allowing for real-time manipulation which can be heard in the demos.
