    The Forcalquier Organ Model V.2

    (1627-2000) Hauptwerk WAV

    P2P | Oct 30, 2013 | 5.53 GB

The history of the organ in the church of Forcalquier is very turbulent and only a part of the material remained from the baroque period, from the original organ. Most of it comes from a 19th and 20th century restorations. The cathedral in a small and picturesque French city called Forcalquier had a small organ with 9 stops built by Pierre Marchand in 1627. It is said that during the time of the Revolution, the church and the organ served for the embellishments of the feasts of the new regime. In 1803, the Christian worship was restored in the church. Half a century later, Prosper Antoine Moitessier rebuilt the organ completely, reusing also the ancient material. The Grand orgue had now 22 stops, a Récit expressif (enclosed in a swell-box) and Pedal with 4 stops. The organbuilders Cavaillé-Coll – Mutin made further reconstruction in 1932. They extended the pedal board range and changed the action to the pneumatic one.

    Cembalo Ruckers Model HAUPTWERK

    P2P | 20 January 2016 | 3.19 GB

Two manual cembalo was built after the 1624 Johannes Ruckers model, which is kept in Musée Unterlinden (formerly belonged to the family de Sade and was kept at the Chateau de Conde, Condé-en-Brie). The Flemish cembalo is solid in construction, colorful in tone with a rich resonance. The Flemish makers were apparently the first to build two-manual harpsichords after 1600. The workshop of Ruckers is credited to build probably the most perfect harpsichords ever and it sets the benchmark for harpsichordists and harpsichord makers even today.

    Santanyi v2 HAUPTWERK

    P2P | 2015.10.03 | 5.3 GB

The two manual organ with 40 divided ranks of Jordi Bosch is a real gem among the Mallorcan organs. Its monumental and splendidly decorated facade (by Fra Albert Borguny) resembles the imperial pomposity of the time and adds to the brilliant sound of its stops. The organ of Santanyi is one of the best preserved works of Jordi Bosch. It has a rich “Trompeteria” composed of 9 ranks of horizontal trumpets, so typical for the Iberian organbuilding school. It spreads its sound to every corner of the church thanks to the fan-shaped (radial) spacing of the trumpets: Baixon faces the east, the Trompa magna the west. The Trompa reial occupies the central position of the Trompeteria. Above the head of the organist there are two ranks of horizontally positioned reed stops with short resonators: Regalies and Dolcaina. The Grand Orgue is built on a wide 16 feet Principal (Flautat maior) which gives sonorous and warm sound to the pleno.

    Röver Organ Ditfurt/Germany HAUPTWERK

    P2P | Nov 04 2016 | 3.49 GB

The organ of the St. Bonifatius church in Ditfurt/Germany has been built by Ernst Röver in 1903. Röver was one of the foremost organ builders in the eastern parts of Germany of the late romantic area. More than 60 of his organs are still in existance in this area of the contry.  Rövers organs are characterized by a large number of foundation stops of different tonal colors, mixtures without breaks and a sparing use of reeds. For this organ this means that about 2/3 of all stops are 16′ and 8′ stops providing the organist with a huge pallette of sounds. Both mixtures are straight without breaks, and the organ uses only two reeds, the Hauptwerk trumpet and the powerful Pedal Posaune.

    Hauptwerk Prague Baroque Organ

    P2P | Nov 23, 2012 | 5.52 GB

    24Bit Version

While many virtual models of organs have one specific instrument as the template, we decided to take different approach this time. The advantage of presenting a “South German Organ Model” without a direct connection to certain specific instrument is that it is more clearly shown that all the organs of this family in the given period are quite similar to each other and have many common characteristics, in spite of their differences. These common characteristics of the south German organ building school are: an instrument with two short-octave manuals where the Rückpositiv is shaped to be the “smaller brother” of the Hauptwerk for dynamic and spatial contrast; limited pedal division of 18 tones; mild Principals with an expressive speech even on very low wind pressures; sparkling and light sound of numerous mixtures which often include a tierce rank; great variety of flute stops including the typical wooden Copulas -thinner Gedackts- with non-imitable “chiff”; predominant labial character of the instrument accentuated by total absence of reed stops (with the exception of occasional Fagot-like pedal stop with wooden resonators), early appearance of strings. Anyway, it is good to point out at least two instruments which are probably the most excellent examples of the South German organ building school, milestones marking the boundaries of the given period.

Smecno – for Hauptwerk 3 and higher Hauptwerk

    P2P | Jun 26, 2012 | 11.17 GB

The renaissance instrument of the Holy Trinity church in Smecno is the oldest preserved and playable organ in the Czech Republic.
The instrument was built around the year 1587. The date of construction may be easily recognized by the heraldry of the donors depicted on the organ chest and from extant archive materials. The organ builder is unknown. It is known that the instrument was damaged during the thirty years war in 1631 when the soldiers of the Swedish army stole the Regal – the only reed stop. There has been one major rebuild during its history: in the late Baroque era, in 1775, a small Rückpositiv was added by Jan Rusch from Litomerice and some stops were changed.

Litomysl Organ Model V.2 Hauptwerk | 6.84 GB

The aim of the project is to make the concert organ from Litomysl (Grygar, 2001) available for the Hauptwerk software sampler. This modern organ is large enough (4 manuals + pedal, 51 sounding stops) to fit the needs of any organ music style, early Spanish music, French or German romantic music, German baroque, XXth century music or anything else you can imagine. The organ was sampled very accurately on 1:1 basis using professional digital equipment of the 24bit/48kHz resolution. The stereo O.R.T.F. norm was used as the recording technique. Each tone of each stop has been captured several times to assure the best possible results. Long samples up to 9 seconds were taken.

Velesovo organ Wet only Hauptwerk WAV

    2011 | RAR SIZE 4.79 GB

The instrument was newly built in 2007 for the church of our Lady in Adergas (Velesovo, Slovenia). The place belongs to the important pilgrim churches of the area. Former monastery was transformed into a spiritual centre, where groups or individuals may find refuge and spend days in silence and meditation, and enjoy the surrounding beauty of nature and giant mountains. The organbuilder Tomaš Močnik lives in the town Cerklje nearby, and hence his Opus 14 in the Velesovo church is a kind of his “showroom” instrument. It was built in a very traditional manner, inspired by the Thuringian baroque organs, particularly by the work of Zacharias Hildebrandt.
