Neurohop Forum has released NHF Sample Pack 002, an enormous free sound collection featuring over 3 GB of royalty free audio content crafted from scratch by various talented sound designers, music producers and NHF community members. The sample pack was over six months in the making (here’s the official announcement from back in July 2014) and includes audio content which was contributed by over twenty forum members. A portion of the content was contributed by Poztman, who has recently released the free Mangling Audio sound library on 99Sounds. NHF Sample Pack 002 contains over 3 GB of royalty free audio material, including one shot drum samples, drum loops, SFX sounds, bass samples, melodic loops, vocal samples and a collection of presets for popular virtual instruments such as NI Massive and Ableton Operator. Most of the samples and loops from NHF Sample Pack 002 will perfectly fit genres like glitch hop, IDM, dubstep, electronica, techno, house, synthwave, and obviously neurohop. The included content is neatly organized into sub folders which are clearly labeled and thus fairly easy to browse.
Percussa Toolbox is an impressive free collection of percussion samples which were recorded and edited by Richard Gould. The library features a set of 89 royalty free percussive hits, capturing the sound of various percussive instruments such as chimes, cymbals, rain sticks, ocean drums and a thunder tube, among others. All of the sounds included in the Percussa Toolbox sound library were recorded and edited by Richard Gould, who is also the author of The Warehouse sound collection which you can download for free on our website. Richard’s latest Percussa Toolbox sound pack is yet another fine example of his brilliant work, providing a rich and versatile library of percussive sounds which can be used as musical elements or foley sounds and eerie metallic sound effects.
