Plus, Tyler will show you how to design three classic sounds from scratch. These KORG opsix native videos are designed for new opsix native users. Tyler kicks things off with an overview of the instrument, including the similarities and differences between the plug-in and the hardware, and a tour of the interface, so you’ll know where everything’s laid out as we move forward. Then it’s on to the Operators, of which there are six, where you’ll find the basis for sound generation and modulation. Tyler will show you how the algorithms can be used to modulate frequencies, among other things.

Eli covers the 31102 console EQ, the 533 EQ, the 73 console EQ, the 84 console EQ, the 81 console EQ, and the preamps (73, 81, 84, and 31102), explaining each parameter and demonstrating each one’s sound in various musical contexts so you can hear them in action. The 84 follows, which includes, compared to the 73, an enhanced filter, Hi Q options for the mid bands, and selectable frequencies for the high shelf.
