Frankly, this is an EZX for fearless exploration – loaded with sounds that have the power to awaken the senses.

Shimmering in blinding neon pastels, the ’80s was an era when technology forced its way to the forefront and got its first permanent foothold in mainstream music culture. It was a time when acoustic and electronic merged to form all-together new sounds, musical expressions and even genres. In all of this, the bass of course played a tremendous part – not least in the shape of the surging use of the synth filling its traditional role. For this MIDI pack, we turned to its sibling for EZkeys and used it as a foundation to create the perfect complement for EZbass. Expect a wealth of ballad-esque basslines that perfectly capture the spirit of the time but that you can doctor for use in any thinkable style or scenario.

The Rock Foundry MiDi WiN

The Rock Foundry SDX was recorded at Bob Rock’s choice studio The Warehouse in Vancouver, BC, and designed to give you the most flexible selection of drums, ambiences and options possible. It’s configured as two individual SDXs, one ‘Main’ and one ‘Mono.’ The ‘Main’ features six kits captured with a traditional multiple microphone technology whereas the ‘Mono’ configuration was recorded using a minimal setup. In addition to the seven individual kits, a large selection of extra snares, kicks and cymbals are provided, making The Rock Foundry SDX an incredibly broad palette of raw material to use to craft drum mixes within the powerful framework of Superior Drummer 3.

Basic, sturdy grooves covering the essentials of country drumming. In a country song, nothing contends with the vocal. Probably more so than in any genre, it completely bathes in the center stage limelight. But just like in any kind of music, all instruments in a song work in each other’s favor. Without the guitars or the piano, the vocal would fall flat. And especially in uptempo music, a song without the proper groove or rhythm section would have no heartbeat.
