“E.T.” is a song by American recording artist Katy Perry taken from her third studio album Teenage Dream (2010). The single version features additional rap verses by American rapper Kanye West. Dr. Luke, Max Martin, and Ammo all co-wrote the song with Perry, and co-produced with West. “E.T.” was originally released as the album’s third promotional single on August 17, 2010. However, on February 16, 2011, it was released as the fourth official single from Teenage Dream. West’s version was included in the 2012 re-release of Teenage Dream, Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection.

This beautiful fretless Saz was procured directly from the streets of Turkey, where master craftsman have been building them by hand for centuries. We painstakingly sampled all three “runs” of strings (low octave, middle single and high unison) with a massive 12x round robin and up to 6 velocity layers for open notes on an octave and a half per string. Continuing the depth are palm mutes, string chokes, release samples and a slew of percussive effects all at 12x round robin with multiple velocity layers.
