Maven is a soundset for Arturia Pigments focusing on old-school electronic music from the 70s and 80s. The original goal of Maven was to take the mellow sound of the Arturia Minibrute 2 and take the sound further with Pigments with higher polyphony, modulation and effects such as reverb, tape delays and analog chorus and flanger effects. For Maven we put a lot of effort in selecting the right filter to pair with the Minibrute and for the majority of sounds we ended up using either the filters from the Oberheim Matrix 12 or the Minimoog.
