    FK13 Korg Mini-Pops MP-3 v4.2 KONTAKT

    AUDIOSTRiKE | 15/05/2015 | 5 MB

The Korg Mini-Pops 3 was an analogue drum machine from the 1970s. It was also branded as the Univox SR-55 and Aria Diamond. It had less sounds than its famous sibling, the Mini-Pops 7, and a different approach to the rhythm selection. There were 2 knobs that controlled the bass/snare and cymbal patterns respectively, these were assigned to the foxtrot/swing button. This combination provided 36 patterns for this button alone plus the 18 other rhythms provided.

London Symphonic Strings Violin II KONTAKT

    SYNTHiC4TE | May 08 2015 | 5.80 GB

Full Violin II section with four different true legato patches for full compositional flexibility (sustains, sordino, sul tasto and sul ponticello). The normal sustains have true legato fingered intervals, plus portamento (sliding) transitions too, so you can really get the line to sing.  Legato patches allow you to turn legato off if you wish so that you can play polyphonically/chords. This is a must own, as either your perfect go-to string library for any composing needs, or as a considerable addition to your existing string palette. This library was recorded 24 bit at 48000Khz with four mic positions (Close, Main, Rigs and Room) in a wonderful sounding hall. The range of articulations is listed below, with many true legato patches, normal/portamento legato, more varied types of detached notes, muted patches etc.

sforzando is a free, highly SFZ 2.0 compliant sample player. Advanced sample hobbyists now have a powerful tool to experiment and share instruments without relying on proprietary formats. sforzando has only one instrument slot; no fancy UI, effects or mixers. Every tweak has to be done at the SFZ file level, no cheating! sforzando is also a name given for a sudden change in music dynamics which, in musical notation, is represented by the “sfz” symbol. Free As In Free Me From Proprietary Formats The SFZ Format is widely accepted as the open standard to define the behavior of a musical instrument from a bare set of sound recordings. Being a royalty-free format, any developer can create, use and distribute SFZ files and players for either free or commercial purposes. So when looking for flexibility and portability, SFZ is the obvious choice. That’s why it’s the default instrument file format used in the ARIA Engine.

Spektro Komplex v1.1 MAX For LiVE

    SYNTHiC4TE | 04.05.2015 | 1.9 MB

Spektro Komplex is a MaxforLive polyphonic synthesizer designed to create complex and unique sounds. Like the Buchla 261e module, Komplex uses two oscillators to produce FM sounds. What really makes this synth stand out is it’s habilities to morph the waveform of the first oscillator (carrier) and use a different waveform for the second oscillator (modulator). The frequency of the second oscillator (modulator) is calculated based on the operation: Oscillator 1 Frequency (operation) Ratio = Oscillator 2 Frequency For example: If the frequency of the first oscillator is 220Hz, the operation is set to multiplication, and the ratio is set to 2, the frequency of the second oscillator will be 440Hz. A variable offset can also be added to the resulting frequency. You can use Spektro Komplex to create anything from classic FM bass to metallic percussion sounds. It’s also a great tool for sound designer who want to create complex synthetic sounds.

    Classical Guitarist KONTAKT

    DISCOVER | 11 MAY 2014 | 456 MB

“Classical Guitarist”, is a beautifully sampled and hugely diverse classical guitar. When programming this vst, we decided to work out some sort of system that would let the instrument keep the full natural attack on every sample/note, whilst still allowing the instrument to be played to a tempo comfortably, and without feelings of latency.  Complete with up to three true dynamic levels, each with up to three round robins, giving a total of nine variations pernote! Fully functional, and controllable true sampled hammer-ons and pull-offs, as well as harmonics are also included. We also sampled all notes over with a different motion to simulate chord playing. This way, you can also play realistic strummed chords, and you can change back and forth between finger picking and strumming via key switches. The full version of Kontakt 5 or above is required to run this instrument. It will not run on the free version of Kontakt player.

    Cellist KONTAKT

    DISCOVER | 11 MAY 2014 | 725 MB

“Cellist”is a wonderfully sampled solo cello, designed for Kontakt 5 and above, and the first to come of our VST strings. It comes complete with three true dynamic levels, each with up to four round robins, giving a staggering twelve true variations pernote! On top of this, we have programmed an up-bow, down-bow alternation for as natural a sound to the instrument as possible. Also included in this instrument pack are staccato/short notes, pizzicato notes, and tremolos. We have also carefully recorded each note with the player working the vibrato in strategically. As a result in this, the cello can be played in fast passages without un-natural sounding vibrato occuring on each note, and then also play slower passages with longer notes and legato, and have the vibrato really come through on the instrument. Crossfading between dynamics is possible by using the mod wheel. The string instruments all give off different parts of their tone via different sections of the body, and each instrument is different. Then there is the room, finding the best place in the room or hall to place the instrument to record, and then placing the mics to capture all the best bits, and gluing them together to make the best possible Kontakt instrument we can, and we certainly believe that we have done this with the solo cello here!

    Celtic Harp KONTAKT

    DISCOVER | 11 MAY 2014 | 479 MB

“Celtic Harp”is our first traditional, folk sounding instrument, outside the realms of standard classical music. This was sampled in a completely different room to the our other instruments released so far. We chose a location that would compliment and retain the instrument’s warth of tone. It comes complete with three true dynamic levels, and a brilliant maximum nine true variations pernote! Keep checking back for more up and coming string sample libraries, it will only get better from here on. We primarily design plug-ins and instruments for Kontakt 5 and above. The full version of Kontakt 5 or above is required to run this software. It will not run on the free version of Kontakt player. This VST instrument was created with a harp recorded in a very warm and soft sounding room, for a much more intimite and pleasing sound. It has also been recorded in such a way that it can easily be applied to all sorts of mixes and styles of music and fit wonderfully with other instruments, reverb etc.

    HarpTime Pro v1.5 VSTi WiN

    TEAM BEAT | 11/20/2006 | 1 MB

    Strings / Orchestral

The HarpTime VST synthesizer was designed to reproduce the sound of the plucked folk harp, and uses an advanced physical modeling synthesis in which twelve strings are all individually modeled to allow true sympathetic resonances. The harp has a beautiful sound which is usable in very many musical styles (mediaeval period music, classical, folk, ambient, film music and ballads, for example). However, samples can only reproduce a limited, and somewhat ‘static’ snapshot of a particular real instrument being played. In comparison, physical modeling allowed us to build a VSTi which reproduces the characteristic of a variety of real harps, with more flexibility, control, and dynamics than a sample set will normally provide. HarpTime can reproduce the beautiful of the Celtic harp, as well as that of many similar types, such as Japanese (koto), Paraguayan and African harps.

Peti Harmonium Accordion v0.5 VSTi WiN Beta

    Team NoGRP | 09-21-2006 | 1.15 MB

Peti uses hybrid FM synthesis technology and was developed primarily to emulate the sounds of the Harmonium, a member of the Reed Organ family, which is also known as the “pump organ”. The Harmonium, in its smaller form, is widely used in north Indian music, and its full, sweet sound is often used in pop and rock music, but Peti is not limited to this instrument alone. Peti is also capable of emulating a wide variety of reed organ variants, and can model timbres which resemble the many instruments in this family, ranging from from accordions to pipe organs, and even the famous melodica often used in reggae dub music. Peti was designed to allow the user complete control over a simulated Bellows mechanism, with 11 different modes providing ‘automatic’ or ‘manual’ pumping, with appropriate modulation of the sound-generation engine’s parameters. It also features two separate ‘reed bank’ simulators, allowing it to create the widest possible range of reed organ timbres via its sophisticated hybrid-synthesis system. Peti’s sound engine is also capable of emulating other key features of the Harmonium, including the body resonance of the instrument itself, the noise of air in the bellows and chambers, a ‘musette’ tremolo feature, and ‘key coupling’, which traditionally allows a single note to trigger two voices.
