Two of the most powerful and balanced active EMG pickups were paired with boutique amps, effects and custom re-amping to achieve a thunderous guitar tone, tailored to cut its way through busy mixes in any genre: cinematic, orchestral and modern rock music in particular.
BARITONE GUITAR WASHES is a versatile Kontakt instrument based on sampled recordings of a custom-made hand-built baritone electric guitar with an aluminium neck. The deep resonance and incredible sustain of the instrument make it perfectly suited to designing long pads and other ambient sounds. BARITONE GUITAR WASHES is based on our proprietary Kontakt engine (WASHES) that incorporates three layers of sound – Body, Grit and Air, each with a specific function and sound characteristics.
The Reason Studios Reason 11 is the 2019 release of the ever popular Digital Audio Workstation from the former Propellerhead Software. This Audio Creation/Editing program has a powerful processing engine, a host of Instruments and Effects and is presented in 3x versions (Intro, Standard and Suite), making Reason 11 an excellent choice regardless of the user’s needs. Alongside the stand-alone DAW, Reason 11 can optionally be used as the Reason Rack Plug-In, a VST3 Plug-In format which allows for the use of Reason in other Digital Audio Workstations. This can make the transition to Reason a far more painless process for those familiar with different software. Reason 11 is the industry standard edition of the lauded software. Included with the package is a generous compliment of Synthesizer sounds, sampled Instruments, Drum Kits, Loops and Effects which empower users to create professional Audio projects in a powerful Virtual Studio. Guitarristas features the combined talents of Richard Buckland and Chris Barnes. Richard has been touring the world as a professional sound engineer for over 40 years, and occasionally plays guitar. Multi-instrumentalist Chris plays guitars, bass, mandolin, and ukulele – and has worked as a successful session musician for a number of years. Together, they created the Guitarristas concept – recorded at 3rd Man Audio using a selection of mics using top end studio equipment.
Metamorpha is the first in a new smaller series of libraries we’ll be releasing. The idea behind this is to have beautiful little instruments at your fingertips that inspire you and that do not have an overcomplicated engine. First of all it’s just plug&play. The Instruments will both be based on the original recordings of a bigger library, with pushing it into a different direction mood wise tough. But also sampled instruments, that have been recorded for this series exclusively like a Glockenspiel, various Bells etc. Metamorpha:Allmosphere is based on our recent library Broken Bells, which has been produced in collaboration with Erick McNerney, who is best known for his work with Beautiful Void Audio, Halflightsampling and Audio Reward.
SODIUM is a creative drum and beatsequencer for KONTAKT 6.2.2. It features 200 inspiring contemporary factory kits. It also comes with hundreds of included drum sounds to get you started. (You can also import your own WAV samples via drag and drop). SODIUM features four drum sequencers – each one has four distinct drum sounds and 32 steps (divided into two key-switchable patterns). Each sequencer gives you control over velocity, volume and panning, pitch, decay, (lowcut) filter, reverb, multi-fx, sample offset and flam. Creativity is just one knob away – dial in different preset pattern variations for each sequencer using the preset knobs. Or completely randomize the kit with a single button. You can also “lock” a kit once you like the pattern and exchange it with drumsounds from different preset kits easily. Multi output routing is also available for further processing and mixing in your DAW. Each pattern in SODIUM can play back one of four included drumsounds. With this, you can switch sounds on the fly to try variations with a breeze. There are some special modes included like “cycle” and “random” to alter patterns in a refreshing way.
Percussion loop libraries have been, and will continue to be, a necessary tool for composers on the go. They can transform a cue into something completely different with just a few clicks and one pass on the keyboard.
