DRC is a powerful new dynamic processor plug-in inspired by the legendary DBX 118. With a fresh perspective on the classic concept, DRC offers advanced processing capabilities that are seldom found in contemporary hardware or software, making it an essential tool for modern music production. While the DRC draws inspiration from the DBX 118, it is not a direct emulation of the original hardware. Instead, it re-imagines and expands upon the original concept, incorporating additional features to enhance its utility in various audio processing scenarios. This unique approach allows users to harness both compression and expansion across the entire dynamic range of the signal. Additionally, the processor can isolate and handle signals above or below the threshold, providing a more refined level of control.
Step into a post-apocalyptic landscape and unsettling dystopian world. With more than 380 presets ranging from eerie pads and fractured pulses to industrial remnants and signature alarms, Dystropia offers a palette steeped in character and defined by a truly unique sonic identity.
The one and only ARP 2600. The iconic ARP 2600. It’s the one synth you can expect to see in every major studio. They demand astronomical prices on the second hand market. When KORG released the limited- edition ARP 2600 FS in 2020, they sold out immediately world-wide. Now, KORG is pleased to present the first truly accurate software re-creation of this essential synthesizer: the KORG Collection ARP 2600. KORG’s proprietary CMT technology faithfully reproduces the distinctive waveforms and filters, the custom LFO and envelope shapes, the many subtle nonlinearities, even the behavior of the patch panel – unlike any other 2600 software instrument. Thanks to this obsessive attention to detail, you can open the original ARP 2600 Patch Book (available as a free PDF on KORG’s website), hook up each of the 100 patches on screen, and they will sound just like an authentic ARP 2600 – something that no other 2600 plug-in can do.
EP-1 Electric piano sound engine from the KORG KRONOS/NAUTILUS. The finest vintage EP sounds now available in the KORG Collection The electric piano sound engine EP-1 first appeared in 2011 in KORG’s flagship workstation synthesizer, KRONOS. It adopted the newly developed MDS (Multi-Dimensional Synthesis) technology which expresses smooth and dynamic tonal changes finely corresponding to key touch, something previous sample playback methods could not achieve. In 2017, it was featured in the top-tier Korg stage piano Grandstage, and in 2021, a new electric piano model was added to the NAUTILUS workstation. This plugin version now features the latest EP-1 sound engine and has received new voicing, making it the definitive Electric Piano sound engine. The overwhelmingly realistic sound and dynamic expression of EP-1 will stir the player’s soul and unleash deep emotional responses. Experience the latest EP-1 sound engine and expand your creative horizons.
Electric Ruby Deluxe channels the warm and woody richness of a hollowbody guitar for stunning realism. From smoky jazz comping to shimmering R&B leads, each note hums with depth and detail. Whether you’re laying down velvet-smooth chords, soulful fingerstyle lines, or expressive melodic phrases, you’ll get grooves that swing and melodies that sing.
Midnight Grand Recorded in a spacious concert hall, this Steinway Model D Grand Piano features a layer of cotton between the hammers and strings, which imparts a delicate, cinematic sound. The felt piano sound has become a staple in every composer’s collection. While most felt pianos are uprights, recorded using their practice pedal, we’ve expanded this concept to a grand piano. After experimenting with different materials, we settled on a thin layer of cotton between the hammers and strings. This produces a richer, darker tone, and when recorded in a large concert hall, it creates a striking contrast to our other felted piano, Woodchester Piano, which was captured in a small, dry studio. Enhancing the library further, we’ve included 14 Atmosphere Layers—pads that seamlessly blend beneath the raw piano sound—along with a versatile set of controls. These elements are explored through eight carefully crafted snapshot presets, introduced in the latest update, that act as a great starting point when exploring darker music genres.
