Shaker Chronicles is the holy grail of shaker sample packs! This epic collection houses over 800 MB of shaker percussion loops & samples covering just about every conceivable production style and tempo you could shake a stick at. Played by ex Beautiful South percussionist and hugely talented session player Gary Hammond using his ridiculous collection of things that shake, this pack is full to the brim with over 600 loops and one shots covering every 5 bpm from 60 bpm to 175 bpm. ​Percussion instruments include African Shekere, Agogo, Cyclopse, Djembe Nino, Finger Shots, Maracas, Schlagwerk, Wah Wahs and a whole lot me that we don’t even know the name of! All loops and samples have been recorded with the utmost care and attention, through a pair of Coles 4038 ribbon mics and Neve 7073 Lunchbox pre amps, to ensure crystal clear clarity of sound.

We spend a great deal of our time finding and/or creating new instruments that are not commonly known and the Circle Bells are no exception. We managed to get our hands on a very unique tuned percussion instrument, which is made by an artisan in the San Francisco Bay Area and can only be found in a handful of local music shops. The maker makes only one at the time, so there are very few of them available in the world. The instrument sounds somewhere between a Gamelan, Glass Waterbowl, Prayer Bowl and something extraterrestrial. It is made of an array of 6 steel cone-shaped bells, ranging from 2″ to 3 1/2″ in diameter and each about 10″ long.
