We span the arc between memories of a completely analog era and retro-futuristic visions of neon-lit dreamscapes. A journey through time into the world of nostalgic synthesizer vibes. Warm, humming synth giants with the charm of dust and hum, immersed in the depths of vintage tape echoes and spring reverbs. The time stands still, and a deep longing takes hold of you when listening to Novu. Novu is a lovingly curated collection of specially crafted synthesizer sounds. We painstakingly ran our old synthesizers through an entire armada of vintage effect units and tape machines – reel-to-reel recorders, lo-fi delays, and unconventional filters – all carefully selected to create an unstable character and dark warmth. At the heart of it are iconic synthesizers like the Prophet-5, Juno-60, and Jupiter, along with some hidden gems that each bring their own timeless charm. The result? A truly unique and expressive instrument, rich in vintage textures and full of soulful happy accidents. This is nostalgia, reimagined.
