In 2024, KORG is adding three more internationally beloved instruments to the KORG Collection, each of which have left their mark on music history. First, the ARP 2600: a legendary, industry-changing synthesizer introduced in 1971 which had a stunning influence on jazz, rock, pop and funk in the 70s, and was featured in countless Hollywood movies. KORG faithfully recreated and reissued the ARP 2600 in 2020 as the ARP 2600 FS/ARP 2600M, ARP 2600 FS have been carefully modeled and reproduced for the KORG Collection. Second, the VOX Super Continental: This carefully modeled combo organ first appeared in the 1960s featuring extensively in music from the 1960s British Invasion era through to the ska and new wave scenes in 70s and 80s. Lastly the EP-1: The EP-1 models electric pianos that first appeared in the 1960s and have become beloved in the soul, jazz, pop music ever since then. This plugin is based on the MDS (Multi-Dimensional Synthesis) technology developed for Korg’s renowned KRONOS and NAUTILUS synthesizers.

SEQUND has quickly risen as our flagship product. We’ve been dreaming about it for a while and the best of our M4L patches are now available for all main DAWs. We have combined our favourite features from our own polyrhythmic sequencers into one single AU/VST plug-in, and then added some more… The result? Quite a unique and powerful tool… (ok we’re bragging a bit, but we’re really in love with what it does!) Like our Probabilistic sequencer, SEQUND features two melodic lanes and a probability lane sequence allowing you to alternate between both melodies. Hoard Mandolin is a versatile and dynamic legato mandolin library designed for Kontakt. Performed by renowned session player and producer Jason Hoard, our goal was to develop a comprehensive mandolin library capable of delivering virtuosic performances as well as heartfelt simplicity. The Master Legato Main patch is a true workhorse, suitable for a wide range of musical contexts. The Chicken Peck variant offers the same functionality while incorporating repetition sustains optimized for rapid and successive picking without compromising the inherent legato capabilities. Both patches seamlessly integrate downstroke and upstroke legato picking techniques. In addition to the performance sustains, we have included playable repetition patches with split-keyboard options, tremolos, sustained chords, carefully-crafted short chords derived from phrases, and even choked chucks; both playable and tempo-synced live grooves recorded at 90, 120, 150 & 180 BPM.
Hoard Picked Acoustic is a versatile and agile legato guitar library meticulously crafted for Kontakt. Like our Hoard Mandolin library, our goal was to create an instrument capable of handling a wide range of guitar melodies seamlessly, eliminating the necessity for keyswitching. The Master Legato Main patch is a versatile workhorse, incorporating multiple legato articulations: Natural legato, slide to pluck (with CC slide speed control), hammer-on/off, and slide without plucking – all seamlessly switchable via velocity control. Additionally, we provided a distinctive palm-muted legato patch with its own unique flavor. The Performance Sustains patch is equally significant, showcasing five velocity levels, including the two softest ones for palm-muted and slightly palm-muted performances, significantly broadening the range of phrasing possibilities. To enhance the authenticity of your guitar tracks, we’ve included a comprehensive, yet subtle, fret noises patch, along with a room tone, breath, and movement patch — all designed to infuse character, warmth, and humanity into your compositions. For added versatility, we’ve thoughtfully included tuned and doubler versions of several patches to cater to your double-tracking requirements.
