Prophecy Vol. 1 is our deep dive into the groundbreaking world of Serum 2, a synth that’s redefining sound design with its powerful new features. With the introduction of sampler, granular, multisample, and spectral oscillators, a whole universe of sonic possibilities has opened up, and we dove in headfirst. We began by sampling some of our favourite analog gear, including the Moog Sub 37 and Arturia Minibrute, transforming their distinctive tones into expressive, high-impact Serum patches. You’ll also find a beautifully sampled piano, crafted into a multisample instrument we call the “Gentle Piano,” and even a surprisingly lush kids’ toy xylophone – because inspiration can come from anywhere. Each preset comes with a dedicated MIDI clip, playable directly within Serum 2, giving you a quick and intuitive way to hear the patch in action and spark creative ideas. A standout element of this pack is our use of the Granular Oscillator, which allowed us to sculpt rich, evolving drones and soundscapes that feel alive and cinematic. Plus, with Serum 2’s upgraded FX section, including new routing capabilities and powerful additions like the Bode pitch shifter, we’ve pushed these sounds even further, adding layers of texture and depth.
