R2R System contains essential tools and runtimes for our releases. After the long development cycle, we are very happy to anounce the first release of this R2R System. It includes lots of “Witches’ Wisdom” to provide the better life for us, end users, other hackers. Upcoming releases should have dependency to the R2R System without mention. Please get used to the new toys before being late ;) Please note that v1.x is regarded as an open beta. There can be destructive changes for the developer (especially SDK) in the major update when needed.

R2R System Installation

[Clean Up]
– Uninstall obsolete Network Block Runtime v1.x and v2.x.
– Uninstall previous R2R System.

[Install]
– Install TEAM R2R Root Certificate (highly recommended).
– Install R2R System and read documentation.
– Documentation is available in “(install folder)\Documents”.

[Develop]
– R2RSYS SDK is available for developers.
– Check R2RSYS_SDK_100.rar.

v1.0.1:
– Fixed : R2REZKG.dll didn’t have EZKG_SplitTextFixed export.
– Fixed : WitchWand crashes when WitchMagic doesn’t have R2REZKG dependency.

Some of the today’s releases are actually using EZKG_SplitTextFixed. Those WitchMagics don’t work with System v1.0.0.

v1.0.2:
– New : R2REZKG supports FNV1A Hash. Check EZKG_FNV1A32() and EZKG_FNV1A64().
– New : Vertical scroll bar is added to to the multi line text box.
– Fixed : R2RJUCE2::J2_GetFirstMACAddress() returned value instead of the pointer.
– Fixed : WitchWand multi line text box didn’t accept long text.

v1.1.0:
– New : Added new function to WitchWand to extract BGM (back-ground-music) from WitchMagic.
– New : EZKG_GenerateFakeSerial is added to generate random fake serial quickly.
– New : EZKG_DSASignDirect, EZKG_DSASignRawDirect are added to sign non hash object.
– New : OpenSSL v1.0.2u (libeay32.dll) is added to the pre-installed plugins. v1.0.2u is the last classic version which is a better choice for some old products.
– Fixed : EZKG_RC4Crypt() didn’t support key longer than 256.
– Update : ZLIB plugin is updated to v1.3.2.

v1.2.0:
– New : Added new WitchUnIns to create batch uninstaller for R2R installers.
– New : WitchWand shows error when the WitchMagic is built for newer R2R System.
– New : R2R Signature is updated to V2. V2 is (stronger than V1 and) more compatible for emulated Windows environment. Upcoming Magic will be signed by V2. Verification of V1 signature in R2R System will be dropped in the future.
– Fixed : The text output from EZKG_Juce*() functions are not ZERO terminated.
– Fixed : Slightly improved performance of R2RSys_GetVersion().

Comments for this update :
* Uninstalling plugin bundle is now much easier than before!
* We din’t thought we need to code version check, because we always write enough information in Runtime.txt.
* Signature V1 uses ECDSA P256 + SHA512. There are no problems in the real Windows machine at all. The problem is that P256 + SHA512 combination is not that popular and it tend to have problems in emulated Windows environment.

That’s the reason we switched to V2 (ECDSA P521 + SHA512). Please note that we won’t change the signature scheme anymore unless there is vulnerability. If the Windows emulation is still not working as expected, please ask the fix to the emulator developer, or contribute yourself.
