Cello Textures is the perfect sample library for film composers looking for dark, cinematic textures to trigger their creativity and enrich their scores. Superbly delivered by Parisian cellist Jean-Philippe Feiss, these textures and playable patches will give you a unique taste of some of the best modern filmscores. This collection is particularly suited for crime drama, horror and tension scoring, but it also lends itself quite well for action projects. All the drones in OUTLAND are highly responsive to MIDI velocity, modulation and aftertouch, making them incredibly expressive and versatile. And using the envelope, filters, EQ and FX controls, they can be reshaped into anything, from percussive pulses to ethereal pads to organic leads. Pacific Solo Strings KONTAKT

The solo strings from ‘PACIFIC – Classical Symphonic Orchestra‘ Pacific – Solo Strings consists of a solo violin and solo cello with core articulations recorded in standard 1st-chair positions. The library was created as an addendum to Pacific – Ensemble Strings and thus recorded in the same space as the rest of the Pacific orchestral project, allowing blending with the rest of the sections. There was also the addition of a new mic position on this release: the section mic which is somewhere between the far/AB and close but strongly biasing towards close. There are some familiar articulations in this library like the marcatos which were sampled in the same way as the marcatos on Pacific – Ensemble Strings. As well as the shorts which were rep-sampled as usual. There’s also a new articulation – motion tremolos – which was conceptualized on Voyage sessions. It’s technically measured but loosely played and super fast and it allows a bit more in the way of back and forth medium-to-fast lines, almost interval-esque without being a legato patch specifically. It has (limited) RR functionality.

Kasey is a soft, cinematic female legato vocal library. Continuing our exploration of solo vocal legatos, we wanted to capture a timbre often heard in modern film music: delicate, ethereal, pure, and deeply expressive. Included are four vowels: Ooo, Oh, Mmm, and Ah, each performed very softly and without vibrato to create an angelic, lilting tone. We’ve also included an inhale Breaths patch to naturally preface phrases, and Untold Stories, a collection of custom vocal pads sculpted from Kasey’s original recordings.
