X-Files of Synths Volume 1 is the first release in a new hardware-centric series of soundsets for Xfer Serum 2, all focusing on a specific sound or manufacturer. For the first volume we are focusing on the intriguing sounds of the competent sound of the Behringer Mini synthesizers: JT Mini (Roland Jupiter) and the JT-4000 (Roland JP-8000). To complete the circle of cloned Rolands we also included drums & percussion from the Behringer 909 / RD-9. “small synths with big sounds. here we take the behringer minis and expand them into behringer mega-evolutions.” The JT Mini & JT-4000 were sampled and looped with a careful selection from the basic waveforms & the most popular tones, to total craziness with randomness and experimental places where the limitations of the synth sonically starts to fall apart. The presets in the soundset were designed for three distinct types of sounds: old analog vintage, modern edm & pop, and atmospheric ambient.

Four songstarters project files for Ableton Live, each one containing a carefully designed and meticulously produced Melodic Techno idea. The pack contains royalty-free vocals, highlighting the “Fade Away” project that has a full vocal, we used a small part of it in the idea, but you can use the full vocal in your track. The pack has two versions, one complete with Ableton Live songstarters, Serum presets and MIDI files and another with just Serum presets and MIDI files. All presets have macro controls programmed with the automations used in the projects, all presets are high quality, they were meticulously created to sound professional without the need to use more plugins for that.
