Phenomena is a dual voice sample-based synthesizer packed full with modern analog synthesiser sounds. Phenomena includes many “classic” synthesis controls, like envelopes and filters, along with advanced customised controls for sculpting and shaping modern innovative and original synthesiser sounds quickly and efficiently.
Seurat is the first instrument to use our AGRA engine (Advanced Grain Recombination Architecture). Essentially this is a highly-customisable granular synthesis engine, used across the two complementary voices. Seurat allows you to manipulate the normal granular controls – grain size, grain frequency, attack and release of each grain and sample position but also adds a range of additional parameter controls for things like grain gain (volume), grain position variation (movement), the space between grains and the symmetry of grain positions in the audio flow offering a range of interesting and often unique outcomes.

Orchestrata is a dual-voice orchestral ROMpler for Kontakt 5.7+, but isn’t intended to be a replacement for high-priced, large-gigabyte Orchestral sample libraries, it offers a range of features and sound-shaping effects, most commonly found in synthesiser systems, that allow you to obtain new orchestral and cinematic sounds, unlike any other. Orchestrata contains samples from 12 orchestral instruments, each instrument has a range of appropriate articulations, and each articulation is sampled as a large section (5+ players), small section (3 players) and solo instrument.
Five Kontakt instruments – D, D untamed, C#, C# untamed, and bellows & bag noises. The uilleann pipes is the national bagpipe of Ireland. It is a complex instrument made up of several pipes, a pipe bag to hold the air, and a set of bellows used to inflate the bag. This library features two full sets of uilleann pipes each with chanter, drones, and regulators – including a rare double-bass regulator.

Swell is a performable Kontakt instrument and sound effects library designed to create natural sounding cymbal swells with a variety of different cymbals and performances. We brought in a professional drummer to perform each of the swells and on during the recording sessions we covered a wide variety of cymbal shapes and sizes. Cymbals included gongs, orchestral suspended cymbals, crashes, chinas, sizzle ride, and others. Great care was taken to record each performance with the highest sonic quality and detail. We chose a relatively reflection free space with a super low noisefloor and recorded through John Hardy M1 preamps for the big clean gain. Schoeps and Neumann mics were used to get full coverage of each cymbal.
FK aims to create the best possible simulations of old and rare electronic musical instruments and make them available to anyone with the full version of Native instruments’ KONTAKT sampler.
