If you are looking for a nice vintage-vibey bass with the typical growling attacks, the “James Jamerson MOTOWN BASS” gives you a nice option. This bass-library has got 10 Round Robbins (alternative samples) on each semitone and velocity layers. About the guitar and the playing technique; We used our Vintage 65 Fender, Precision Bass, with foam under the bridge with flat-wound strings and played just with the index finger just like James Jamerson did! Gear used; ACME Motown D.I. & STUDER A80 Tape Recorder.
