The Dixieland Collection is a laser- focused Trad Jazz ensemble of instruments designed to tap into the iconic sound of Jazz Giants like ‘Louis Armstrong and his Hot 7’ or ‘King Oliver’s Creole Jazz Band’ from the very birth of Jazz itself in the early 1900s – with every articulation performed to encapsulate everything from a strong live-performed ‘Satchmo’ style vibrato across all brass instruments, to idiomatic and highly nuanced inflections and performance techniques across the entire range. Including; Cornet, Clarinet, Trombone, Banjo (with live tempo sync’d strumming), Piano, Upright Bass and a Jazz Drum Kit (including iconic percussive elements). The most complete and specific collection of Kontakt Based Virtual Instruments to tackle the Dixieland genre, laser-focused for ultra-specific realism to create the iconic sound of the early pioneers of Jazz.
