Zebra Ultramarine is the first soundset for u-he Zebra 2.8, containing 120 cinematic patches. Zebra Ultramarine explores the unique textural capabilities of amazing Zebra 2 and also takes advantage of its comprehensive and intuitive rhythmic engine and powerful oscillators, resulting in a versatile, instantly inspiring scoring collection. Some of the textures are so organic it’s hard to believe that there aren’t any samples involved. While Zebra Ultramarine is primarily designed for scoring applications (Film, TV, Games, Trailers), it will also work great in other genres such as ambient, neoclassical or new age. Patches are carefully programmed with detailed modulation capabilities, offering much more detail per every preset.
Zebra Lazarus is a collection of 800 patches for u-he’s Zebra² and ZebraHZ synths. Lazarus is all about modern synthesis: wide-screen cinematic sound, infused with the spirit of electronica. Analogue and digital, dark and light. Sci-fi futurism, dance floor passion and Hollywood action, all rolled into one ready-to-go, synth palette, utilising the wealth of Zebra’s synthesis tools. There are two volumes of Lazarus: Vol I and Vol II and, as usual, there is also a Vol I: Dark Edition and a Vol II: Dark Edition. This Bundle brings you all four editions together. This is a hugely versatile array of patches designed to take you from minimalist ambient all the way up to epic, hybrid trailer music. These sumptuous, vibrant and powerful patches will open up a universe of synthetic wonder. It is inspired primarily by electronic, cinematic game soundtracks such as the Deus Ex and Mirror’s Edge series, Quantum Break and The Division.
Dark Zebra Solaria is a cinematic wide screen collection of 170 signature patches for U-He’s Dark Zebra synth. Dark, atmospheric, subtle, rhythmic and slightly distorted, these sounds are best suited to be used in TV, film drama and sci-fi. Influences can be attributed to composers and artists such as Johann Johannsson, Anthony Gonzales & Joseph Trapanese, Solar Fields, Cliff Martinez and Harry Gregson-Williams. Perfect for any underscore situation that require dark animated distant atmospheres, pulsing arpeggios, mangled bass lines and synth basses, dark keys, lush animated ambient pads, dramatic pulses and drum impacts, fx’s, experimental synths and sci-fi soundscapes. Many patches offer added adaptability programmed into the modwheel and aftertouch is used for more expression, to make these sounds come alive. All sounds have X/Y assignments for further exploring and as always leaving a few dB headroom. Solaria requires The Dark Zebra to load, which is a custom and special built version of Zebra 2 with over 400 presets, created for Hans Zimmer who used the sounds in The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises soundtracks. The Dark Zebra requires a Zebra 2 license.
Valis is a dark cinematic analog tour de force collection of 180 signature patches for U-He Zebra 2.8. The set contains a wide sound palette of gloomy darkness and strange evil, balanced with a hint of salvaging light. There are characterful arpeggios, dark basslines and basses, twisted synth keys with after-key dynamics, silky warm pads to driving, tense pulses and ominous soundscapes. Being both beautiful and sinister by nature, these sounds are perfectly suited to be used in TV/Film and sci-fi underscore dramas and horror. While heavily influenced by artists Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein of Stranger Things fame, additional influences can be attributed to artists such as Ben Frost, Apparat, Disasterpeace and Vangelis. Many patches offer added adaptability programmed into the modwheel and aftertouch is used for more expression. All sounds have a few dB headroom and X/Y assignments for further exploring.
