Pre-class: Onboarding and Introduction
Before class starts, there are few things you’ll need to do to be ready to go on Day 1. Charlie explains how to get set up and what you’ll need to have and do ahead of time to get the most out of the class.

Days 1-19: End-To-End Songwriting and Production
In this part of the class, Charlie walks through his full songwriting and production process by creating an original song in real time, from start to finish. He walks through his entire process of developing a song, including how he comes up with ideas and starts a song, writes melodies and lyrics, records harmonies, produces synth, drums, bass, and other instrument parts, and mixes and finalizes the track. You’ll follow along with Charlie step-by-step and end Part 1 with your own original song.

Days 20-30: Exploring New Sounds and Styles
In the second part of the class, Charlie will share how he evolves as an artist and producer by experimenting with unfamiliar sounds and styles. For his second song, he’ll purposely create an “uncomfortable song,” a song that incorporates instruments, chords, and lyrical themes that he’s never used before. You’ll follow along with Charlie to create a second original song that challenges you to expand your creative range as a songwriter and producer.
